- NOTAN is a Japanese word meaning the balance of light and dark. In art this means Negative space(where an object is NOT) is just as important as Positive space.
Materials: 2 different colors of paper ( light and dark), scissors and glue. ( google NOTAN to see some very fancy NOTAN designs). What will yours look like?
