I can't believe Stephen managed to figure out shine sparking by accident.
I was just about to say that, finding out about shine sparking so early will be a big help if he uses it XD
And almost died testing it out before he realized that it takes energy 😂
@@mattbriddell9246 Actually, you can't die while using the shinespark. The game has a built-in failsafe. It will abort a shinespark if Samus' health drops below 20 to 30, then will not let you initiate one again until you recharge your health.

There's a non-required bit in the pink section of Brinstar that teaches you the Speed Booster's Shinespark technique. While it saps your health rapidly, it can help you zoom past a few sections that would require other upgrades and/or patience to complete. You can also use the upward-diagonal aim to launch diagonally if you ever feel that using directional inputs feels wonky for angled sparking.
There's also the other area that teaches you wall-jumping in the same manner.
The Shinespark can also fly diagonally, by holding the L and R buttons respectively (like how you would aim the cannon).
I wonder how many times stephen will drink the koolaid.
