@@Hiba-kc5ur it's a duology! The second one is called traitor queen. Those 2 books are part of a 6 book series in which every 2 books follows a different couple
have u read to kill a kingdom? just wanna know how is it? Is it fast-paced? slowburn? is the writing style good? I've been planning to buy it, but a little hesitant.
@@angala8951 i’m currently reading it, and i’m pretty sure it’s slow burn since (obviously) it’s enemies to lovers. the writing style is interesting and keeps you intrigued.
Also The Shadows Between Us ! Loved it. A girl seduces the king to marry him and kill him, but oops they fall in love ❤️ she is ruthless and just wants power, I love her😍
I HIGHLY recommend Pestilence by Laura Thalassa. This book is a perfect example of this! Oooh the angst! And the chemistry! The characters are compelling and the story is actually interesting on it's own. It was a 5star romance read for me!
It's not a trying to kill u but fell in love book but instead it's like a chase book. The Mindfuck Series by S.T. Abbey. It's a serial killer who's falls in love with a cop even though she knows how bad that is of an idea. And the cop is hunting for her the whole time but doesn't realize he's dating the bad guy. Loved it.
We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal has this trope. Prince of Death Nasir is ordered to kill the Hunter-or the huntress-known as Zafira! Great enemies to lovers, very slow-burn with the knife to the throat trope!
I just read Bridge Kingdom duology and adored it. It's so awesome. I have two more to add to your list: Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller and Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko
I'd recommend Pestilence by Laura Thalassa for this trope! A bit of an unusual one too as it's a normal girl who decides she's going to take down the first of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse after they've destroyed the world! Definitely on the darker and more violent end of this trope but the romance is just *chefs kiss*
Deal with the Devil was SO GOOD. Not only was the romance great but all the side characters were so lovable and the overall theme of "making the world a better place no matter how dark it is" really warmed my heart and came to me at the right time.
Great video! One of my faves in this trope is called hush hush by Becca Fitzgerald. Super cute book. It’s a series but the first book could be read as a standalone!
I have had the Bridge Kingdom on my shelf for a little while now and I definitely am going to pick it up ASAP! I am also really curious to see your thoughts on A Heart of Blood and Ash. I have that one on my TBR as well and I always love your reviews !
I’ve found i like this trope as well! These are darker romance but in this trope: JA Huss In To Her (on Audible plus right now) and Nina G Jones The Debt
Some of these books sound so interesting. Especially To Kill a Kingdom. I had heard about it but never really knew what it was about in depth. It sounds amazing.
The Bridge Kingdom YES!! that angst! And I have had Ruined on my shelves for so long. I didn't know it had this trope! Also hadn't heard of Bring Me Their Hearts!
I'm in the middle of bridge kingdom and its surprisingly good, I normally wouldn't have picked it up because of the cheesy cover but I'm so glad I did!
I love that trope, you really served with this recommendation video! also I read Cruel Beauty by Rosamunde Hodge quite a while ago which also has that trope. I didn't love it, but it was so fun, so I'd recommend it :)
Ironically I'm writing a fantasy adult book where the female assassin goes to kill the King but ends up almost killing the Prince and in order to protect her from execution, the prince hires her as his personal assassin so unfortunately she doesn't try killing him the entire book but she does want to rip his head off for most of it lol
@@SarahSacz Sadly I'm still on the first draft, BUT I am still working on it very slowly. I'd love to finish it someday though, thanks for the motivation, I might work on it tonight 💙💙
To Kill A Kingdom is a bit slow read that only gets better during the last few pages while The Shadow Between Us is really good although it can be inconsistent at times
This title just cleared my skin.
The Bridge kingdom deserves a lot more recognition, I love it! I need more books where they actually are true to their purpose
Do you know if it’s a series or a stand alone ? Thank you 🥺

The Wrath and the Dawn is another book with this trope, and it's amazing.

A girl seduces the king to marry him and kill him, but oops they fall in love ❤️ she is ruthless and just wants power, I love her😍

I think fans of To kill a kingdom would love Bone Criers Moon. They sound so similar! And it has a "trying to kill you" trope lol
Some of these books sound so interesting. Especially To Kill a Kingdom. I had heard about it but never really knew what it was about in depth. It sounds amazing.

This is SUCH a great trope!
OMG I can't wait for you to read A heart of Blood and Ashes
I absolutely LOVE The Book of Ivy, and im so bummed it never got the hype that some of the other YA series got!

Definitely didn’t know that’s what to kill a kingdom was about,,,, *adds to TBR*

YESSSS BRING ME THEIR HEARTS IS THE BEST!!!😍
To Kill A Kingdom is a bit slow read that only gets better during the last few pages while The Shadow Between Us is really good although it can be inconsistent at times
The wrath and the dawn is also pretty good
I am reading truthwitch and I guess it also has this trope. Let's hope I am right 😂😂.

Have you read The Shadows Between Us?

I ended up dnfing a heart of blood and ashes, it became too repetitive and the romance became boring
Oops now I really want to buy these books nowwww!
Am I the only one thinking of the legend series by Marie Lu? 😊😏
i found my new fave trope lol
Loved this!! Also, just a friendly tip, Amal is pronounced (at least in arabic) as Uh-mull. It's a soft sounding name 🤗💞
