OG TDU is so goated fr. I spent so many hours playing 1 & 2. I was 12 when TDU1 came out and I got it on my PS2 at first, and then I got an Xbox 360 for christmas 2007. I was so excited to get to play this game on 360 and I remember begging my grandmother to let me buy the DLC on her credit card. Lol
Am i the only person to realize TDU in its entirety is a fever dream? (in the original non modded version of the game) The bloom and lighting make the game seem whimsical or dreamy. I also notice that before each race the AI cars just materialize outta thin air. A dream of the life you always wanted it. Also the character wakes up just as the plane is arriving in Oahu
One of the big games I grew up with when xbox 360 released I remember It not having a hard drive and I could not save my progress, so everytime I shut the console down I had to restart and grind a full day to get a Saleen or Ferrari Enzo and never got tired of it 😂
It's a pity that the controller support is a bit so so. You need a keyboard and a mouse to navigate the menus and the map this isn't a full sit on a couch experience.

I hope you can go on until unlock the Hardcore Mode. For me it's where the game actually begins, because the physics are so much better.

My first manual car irl was a svt focus. Might be one of the most fun cars I've owned or ever drove. Not that anybody cares. 😅
How do you get analogue input on the PC version? I tried to play it on a GPD Win 4 and all I get from the triggers is binary input despite them being analogue. Also had a strange issue where only the immediate area after buying a car loaded and the rest of the map had zero collision including the ground
