Recently saw El DeBarge, featuring Chico DeBarge, live in concert. They were absolutely flawless. They put on a great show. I feel blessed to have been a part of that audience that night to see what God can do when we fall. He picked them up and didn't take away their God-given talent. That El is something else! I live their whole family and pray that God keeps his hand on each of them to stay away from drugs and toxic people that are no good for them.
LAWD! It makes no sense how absolutely these men have ALWAYS been!! 😍😍 Even after yrs of smoking, crack, heroin, alcohol, pills & damn near anything they could get their hands on, they're STILL gorgeous & God left their talents intact. Most artist who went down a similar path canNOT say that! No disrespect 2 the deceased, but look how Whitney was NEVER able 2 reach her vocal range after all of those years of smoking & drug abuse! These brothers are EXTREMELY lucky.
I agree. I wonder how El and Chico are doing? I know El had some legal trouble with his family couple years ago and Chico recently in some drug trouble last year. I hope they are well and have clears up their legal troubles they are just to fine and talented to lose it all. God be bless them.

Zabrina Green I do love the family as there are some talented people among them, but sadly, all the siblings are or were addicted to drugs. I am, however, particularly worried about El and Randy who seem unable to gain even a measure of control over their drug addiction. I am still mourning Whitney Houston and don't want to see another talent thrown away!

It's just that sometimes people continue to want to judge him for his past. When he's tired, they think he's using. When something appears off, they think he's using. Right now, El is trying to do El and give the people good music.
