- THIS IS IT! THE CHARACTER I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! I don't know why I never noticed it sooner, but Ganondorf is a PERFECT fit for me! You mean I can go around fair'ing people just like Jigglypuff, but actually kill people now? No way... I'm giving Ganon a SERIOUS shot here, and this is how it looks.

The duality of maining a light air based character with limited kill options and a heavy slow ground based with numerous kill options is truly beautiful

R.O.B. is sooo good in Ultimate. Has a lot of projectile attacks, is a heavy hitter with his Smash attacks, has a good recovery, a deflector, is tanky, and one of the best grab combos in the game (down grab into up aerial). One of my friends is really good with ROB and I could only beat him as Kirby lol

@@ThatSneakman A Ganon main has to use psychological warfare to make up for how ass he is. That being said, it’s all fun, don’t forget smash is a game above all of the competitive stuff we like to give it.
True lol. I'm actually a Captain Falcon main now but from Brawl all the up to Ultimate I mained Ganon. I dont play competitively and I was quite young so I never would've thought of him as "low tier trash."

I always love watching pros (or anyone really) playing Ganondorf for the first time. They always have so much fun, and are always shocked by how strong he is.

I’ve been saying this for a long time. Ganon is VERY viable online and in Elite Smash. It’s only at the very highest levels is G-Dorf bottom-tier.

This is why I love Heavy characters. I will admit, their playstyle lacks mixup options, leading to them having very predictable playstyles.
But... some days, you don't want to tech endlessly, read, and focus on a ton of things that require intense reflexes and timing.
Some days, you just want to throw a Punch. Or yell DORIYAH and slam someone into the blast zone in 2 clean hits.
This the same man who constantly rests people with roll reads and is surprised when he lands warlock punches 😂

@@HD-nb7kw I second ganon mainly for his killpower and hitboxes as there are some matchups (as a roy and captain falcon main) that I struggle less against when I use ganon. For example, I tend to do better against peach using ganon (I know, weird).

Ganon's true recovery is his survivability. Dude is so hard to kill, even at high percents, with decent DI he survives so many huge launches.
