Just writing this in case it helps someone. Just nabbed an apple refurb 256gb of the 12.9 inch 5th gen pro for $830. Way better deal than the 2024 12.9 inch air brand new, considering the pro has Face ID and mini LED + better ports and better cameras. All refurbished products from apple come with a brand new battery and outer shell… The only positives of the 2024 air over this are the m2 chip is slightly faster and it has a slightly better Wi-Fi standard - both of these things probably do not matter at all for 99% of people
