Vaishnavs have always problem in shiva supreme.
They can quote any purans or geeta but if we experience we can say shiva is the ultimate reality.
Vishwaroopam shown by krishna is none other than shiva's.
Ishvar/shiva gitas copy is bhagvadgeeta.
They can just say satvik tamsik and debate to degrade.
Bhagvad gita has many changes throughout the generations and iskcon bhagvad gita is one best example it doesn't have any reliability.

Whatever the avtar we are saying is not avatr they are just shiva amsh.
If Krishna is god why can't he escape from the curse of kunti.
Why did he prayed for child sambh from shiva...
Why he prayed shiva for sudarshan chakra by offering his Lotus eye.
Why Ram needed shiva amsh hanuman help in defeating ravan.
Why parshuram became die hard devotee of mahadev.
Why they required to shiva only to drink poison.
If required there are many ways to debate.
Instead of that let's say God is one you can call by any name.
Advaita siddanta is the best.
