Depends on who owns the lot. Not all dead-bus lots are owned by the school board - there is a known dead-bus lot owned by a junkyard operator (Brandywine Companies) - the dead-bus line abuts the "u-pull-it" lines (and has for over a decade). In addition to a dead-bus line, the same lot holds a dead-commercial-truck line - both also operate as "u-pull-it" lines. Does that help, Joshua Nguyen Presents?
I don’t understand why they just can’t clean 95-45. Going back to the fleet start up video, maybe at the time it was the same mechanics who were busting the speakers in the dashes. Very sad to see that bus go to waste 😕. Hope you get the bus and take care of it!
@@ElevatorsofSteelCity So because it's gotten old, they let it go to waste? They can't just sell it? Tommy Retro would've bought it from them in a New York minute.
There was some 90 passenger Blue Birds ordered here in 2017/2018 that only had the defrost/dash heater (90k BTU unit). Somebody in the accounting/purchasing office thought it would be sufficient and wanted to save money. When they showed up, the transportation department rejected them stating it wasn’t as ordered. Had to get more from the factory to satisfy them (3-4 month wait). The dealer added a rear heater and sold them to other contract operators.
About that 07 CE, the reason it only has that heater in the front is the way the district ordered it. A 2007 CE that I used to ride had a heater up front and one in the back. Also its ridiculous that they just retire beauties like these just because of age and mistreat them. Sad to see those two IC buses sitting as well as those other buses, most especially the 99s and 2000s.
TechSpotlight Modding Corp. // TSMC I know they were ordered that way. But it didn’t keep the bus warm. All of our blue birds kept the bus warm with that one heater. It just didn’t work on the IC. And the motors were junk anywho. And another one has since died.
Fredriq Craft any update on 95-45? I’d like to see you purchase it and clean it up! We have a 95-45 in Phenix City AL but it’s a TC2000. Still is in service and running strong after 23 years!
I am jealous. You guys have a YARD full of old, decommissioned busses. My district has about 5 decommissioned busses, all of which don’t have an engine. In fact, we have a 95 with no heat still in service.
Project 681 Yeah it is. I almost lost my mind when they decided to do it. I hated to see those buses go. 04-80, 98-56, 00-68 all ran great. Bad thing is all the engines are still good. Drilled a hole through through nothing more than a coolant passage. Machine that hole put threads in it and put a plug in and they’d be good to go. But they’ve started yanking parts from them already.
Le'Teiz Jordan - Not cheap to do (the same applies to other alternative fuels - such as electric) Google alternative-fuel usage in buses of ANY sort (school, mass-transit, commercial, etc.).

It had gotten old, and the district had plenty of other ‘95 3800s.
I think he should get it too. He just said there's nothing wrong with it. It just gotten old.

Thought 84 was the max at that point
@@DeadChan67 the 90 had pretty much always been available on the front engine type d models.

I need a stop sign paddle off one of these lol

I live in Canada and our MF7 and VT IC CEs are still holding up but we've moved on from IC since the quality has deteriorated over the years.
1:19 I think thats why 4105 (In our district) is out of service (Probably retired since it was missing a right outer dual)
95-45 should keep as a spare
Love the junk line is there Any new or more junk line I love old standards buses I also love old marching band buses they don't get used very much
Back in 2016 our district retired all the 2000's bluebird all Americans and tc2000s
Thoose 2007 ICCE’s could have stayed in service but with a Cummins repower
i wish i go to retired bus lot where i can get in buses and start them
Any spare 3800 T444E emblems?
Why did these buses, that still ran, got killed for? What happened to those buses? Just asking, no offense
Can you try to start some of them in another video
Like the first bus
Are these buses sitting in Wayne county NY
The 39 is in the sea of the wad. But there is a little shing from the Lord. Because of lift. Amen
This is sad to see! I wish we kept our buses that we retired and put them in a field like y'all did.
I'd have rather just seen the ones that still ran sold and got a new life. I plan to try to buy 95-45 at the next auction though.

After we retire our buses, we keep them around for like 3 or 4 years before we sell them.
SchoolBusDriver71 To part them out?
03-12 Productions first they become spares, then sports buses and then they just sit there, and then they’re sold.
1:34 the bus blew up?
Head gasket blew

@@Bluebirdvision91 We still have a hand full of mid to late 80's Thomas S1700's still in service after 32 years, they're spares.
Alot of them '95s have blown motors
Can you make a video of the ford F150.
My birthday is Monday and I'm hoping to get my adopted fathers international bluebird with the DT466
poor buses, especially the ICs and Blue Birds. Whoever owns this bus lot is so ridiculous.
Would they sell the e350 off
06-94 and 07-97 with a 6.uh-oh
2007 international with a 6blow 🤣😂
Poor 95-45. All because it got old. Is it still in the bus yard? If it is, you should buy it.
I think that EPA bullcrap is just a waste. I understand the intent, but there are good buses just wasted because of it.

bus driver 05- 20 Auctioned. Although one guy who usually bids on them owns a junkyard so...
I dont know why they cant just keep them until the engines die
