ছানাদের জন্য পর্যাপ্ত শিকার আনা গেছে। এবার শত্রুর হাত থেকে ডিম রক্ষায় মাটির ঘরের কলসির মত মুখ কাদা দিয়ে ঢেকে দেয় মা। শেষবারের মতো হয়তো বাসাটাকে চুমু খেয়ে মা উড়াল দেয় অন্য কোনখানে। কারণ সন্তানদের কাছে বা এই বাসায় আর কখনো ফেরা হবে না ওর।
