Excellent walk. I was there in 2021. Much has changed, but Plac Grzybowski changed for the bad. The remont of the church is never-ending. A very modern city. Thank you for your videos. It's nice that you changed your POV to include street names.
Thanks for the kind words, that’s great to hear. Oh so the church renovation has been taking a long time? You mean I’m filming the street names? Or just the mention in the description below the video?
@@WalkWorldRUclips It's the best way instead of inserting subtitles into the frame, to point the lens toward the street sign, it is enough information. The Park on Plac Grzybowski was in much better condition than today. My sister was living on Grzybowska 6 but she passed away in 2019 because of COVID-19, therefore I needed to be there.
@@adamw1944 I'm very sorry to hear about your sister - Grzybowska must hold some dear memories for you then. Thanks for sharing, and I'll bear in mind about the signs - although it's quite tricky to manage it all when filming.
@@WalkWorldRUclips Yes, once you are at an intersection, please show street names. I lived in Warsaw in the 1980-ties, I knew the city very well back then. Now, looking at the new buildings, it's impossible for me to guess which part of city you are showing...
@WalkWorldRUclips ... some interesting elevations for those big and white residential blocks. These are buildings from the early 70s. In the 90s they were renovated and insulated. Demolition is not really an option, but preliminary designs for new elevations have already been presented and overall it looked much better.
@@skandalsky66 Not sure exactly which ones. After walking these streets so much, all the residential buildings are blurring into one 😅 interesting background though, you sound like you know Warsaw well.
I did not like the city. Getting from one side of a street to the other takes 20 minutes. It reminds me of Amman ,where from one crossing to the other is over a mile because high speed road goes through the center.
