Yesterday I was flying my a10, they easily soaked up like 100 rounds of 30mm
meanwhile the a-10 (which is DESIGNED to take a lot of damage) folds in 2 whenever a single round hits it

Holy Christ the realness of being able to just _hear_ a missile getting close and instinctively flare is on point. It must be a side effect of playing so much high tier jets lol. It's saved me a few times for sure.
Love F8E. I also prefer when the wings stay on my plane

@@kingghidorah8106 Technically their is a pilot that is supposedly knows your mouse inputs will rip and not pull them much like he tries not to roll on landing even when you are trying to roll on landing.
@@greyfox79007 what? Naw, I've seen gameplay and even Defyn complains about the wing snapping issue. Seems like when it's an US aircraft with some major flaw we can bitch about it as much as we want without being given the stank eye by the whole community. But hey, if you say France bad? sHuT uP you GoT maGiKs. Russian air is obsolete til 10.3? "mig 19 oP!" (it is but you find 1 in every ten matches and the users are often so bad they get out fought by F-104A on a close air combat.

The History Channel always seemed to relate the Crusader to the Phantom II in the same way that the F4F Wildcat preceded the F6F Hellcat: pre-war and obsolete, but still able to get the job done
Everyone that wanted to have a gun and be a true gunfighter which the Crusader is the last gunfighter. Pilots chose the crusader over the phantom.
@@MatterianThose who wanted to truly be fighter pilots chose the Crusader. Everyone else chose the Phantom.
So evidently, in the next patch, the F8E is getting RWR. So now you can see if a missile is coming at you.

F8E is easily my favorite plane in WT:
1) Nobody expects to eat a SARH at 10.3, so most of the time it's easy 2 kills at the start of the match. Many players at 10.3 prefer having only flares instead of mixed, so sometimes you just watch them helplessly unload all their flares while AIM-9C just goes straight in their face.
2) AIM-9Ds have amazingly long range to perform 2 orbital strikes after you get your 2 kills with 9Cs
3) It can outturn almost everything at that BR range if you know what to do
4) The Colt laser cannons - holy fuck I absolutely love them. You also can shoot 2 of them separately to conserve ammo.
I've had a lot of fun in this thing and honestly prefer playing F8E over F-14 and other toptier jets. 10.3 truly is amazing now if you have flares.
Weird when I fly that BR i always see people run mixed or flare priority so the 9C isn't one for me
yeah, that's been my experience spading the MiG-21 SMT and MF in the Soviet and German trees. After researching flares/chaff first, I'd equip it and then use R-3R's solely until I could get R-60s to pair with the R-3R's. Even when flying the premium MiG-21's (S and SPSK) I'd go with the four R-3R's and (for the SPS) the flare/chaff pod. The SARH's at that tier are surprisingly flexible even with the limited radar tech at that BR

Definitely in my top 3 favorite planes in the game, and I love the AIM-9C, works more often than it doesn’t. Great video!

I personally love the crusader! and I agree with you on the Aim-9Cs, I love them, especially at a BR where radar missiles arent widely used and you see a lot of mom's credit card. it's one of my best planes and the flight performance is close if not about the same as the f5c which is great for when you get into a dogfight with one. Great vid, cool to see you cover the crusader!
Finally!!! You did a video on my favourite plane the f8. I used the f8u2 to grind the f14 cause I didnt have any rank 6 prem back then.

I love trying to save these guys when they are being chased by an enemy at gun range and they just dump flares so my missiles can't hit shit

Prior to the whole missile update thing, I’ve found more success with the D over the G when running it honestly. I found it way more likely to continue tracking the aircraft over the flares, which I guess has something to do with it being caged, but it was way more effective for me. F8e is also a really fun aircraft that I just enjoy seeing and playing.
I love the F8E. I was lucky enough to get a talisman for it too and used it to grind pretty much all of rank 7

There’s a bunch of fun jets in the game like the F-8E, F-5E, and yes even the Mirage IIIE but Holy Shit the Repair cost for them are absolutely horrid like not even joking all the fun jets in the game have a minimum repair cost of 16K+.

This planes faces a lot of aircraft which either don't have any countermeasures, or get flares but no chaff. I think it's a little unfair to call all of them idiots because they took flares, some cannot choose.
They added the RWR now. F-8E is one of the best planes in the game for its BR

I run 4 AIM9-C missiles on the American variant, and BR for BR it's by far my strongest jet. Shame you got no dogfights. This jet is really capable in that department too.
i was kind of dissapointed that i would have to grind a little bit more in the naval tech tree line (im currently grinding only the attack, bomber and naval tech tree of US air) to get an f4 phantom, but ive noticed that the crusaders are quite interesting planes. they have weird and not alot of pylons, but after noticing the aim9C was a radar missle (wich iam very desperate to get) i chose to grind the thing right away. I have the wing ripping version rn, but im gonna try both soon,

The F8-U-2 is fun and all... Up until you fly sim and can snap your wings in damping after a half second pull
Finally someone realizes the potential of the 9C and how good it can be if used correctly. The R-530 might be good with its radar (French version obviously) but you can only carry 2 and the 9C is better anyway.
Can we get a ':D part II' video about the Typhoon Mk.I b Late (or the Mk.I a, but the b Late is better)', Joob?
I only wish that if you took 2 9C's and 2 9D's that they'd have one on each side, it bothers me to no end seeing the asymmetrical loadout
