i understand the empty tube is vacuum so blood can flow in automatically with one needle in the patient's vein, the other needle thrusting through the rubber stopper at the top of the tube. But i don't understand why after taking in the blood, the tube full of blood can be inverted or Shaked without blood leaking out of the tube from the top. After all, there should be a needle hole at the top of the filled tube, correct? i often see technicians shake the tube filled with blood, why there is no spill from the top?
i thought the cotton and the needle were never meant to come in contact with eachother? Like you are meant to take out the needle and THEN put on the cotton and apply pressure???? not put the cotton ontop of the needle and then take it out
Well done. I wish we could take our time like this each patient visit, but in reality, pressure to go faster is an issue.

There is a rubber part on the top of the tube. For lack of a better term it is like "Self Healing" rubber that is punctured and closes itself up.

Is there an app for blood collection?
الطريقة كلش حلوة لكن الواقع مختلف تماما
ضغط العمل جدا كبير و عدد ال patients اكبر 😅
Great video
nice edu
Should have put on the gloves before cleansing the site
The lady forgot to remove the tourniquet after 60 seconds. I feel sorry for the patient.
haha, the lady forgot to use the gloves before touching the patient, automattically failed right thre in my damn book
@@crackinlackin6189what a stupid comment. Palpating the vein without gloves is okay as long as you disinfect it after and not touch the area anymore.

No she didn’t 4:44

Her gloves should’ve been on before swabbing
