You have the best videos. I bought my kayak 5 months ago. Been out only 3 times due to weather conditions. Including wind. Casting from a kayak has been a fun challenge. A quite lure entry is trying 😂😂
Before buying a yak I recommend everyone ask themselves these questions How many times do you think you will go fishing a month? How will you transport this yak? Car top? Truck bed? Trailer? Where will you store this long term? Have you ever done this before? Kayaks? Paddleboard? Surfing/Skating?
Love it. When I first thought about starting out fishing earlier this year, I found your channel and started watching all your videos. Look at me now lol. I’ve gone from zero to hero right before your eyes, and it was a pleasure doing it right alongside you. your videos are insanely educational, and I’m sure you’ve helped countless more anglers like you’ve helped me.

i’ve been on the market for a fishing kayak for the past few weeks and just when i think i have watched every single video like this, this guy always manages to come up on my feed with another video
Great information for beginners such as myself. I’ve been on the water since I was very young and I’m 59 now, I’m sure that I am not as strong a swimmer as I was when I was younger. I’m of the opinion that us older guys should ALWAYS wear their PFD.
Nice info video Pedro. I have a Fiblink landing net and the long handle fits perfectly in the Yakattack double header Roto paddle holder. Easy to get to also.
@@wendellfishing lol, the net reach the front of the boat not letting fish make a run when it hit the surface. Planning a couple days for the AEP again this month. Playing the weather now.
That's sweet and I like that logic. Unfortunately, most states like me in Florida, adding a motor (electric) or engine (gas) means registration no matter the size of vessel or motor / engine.
Learned most everything I needed to know about kayak fishing from you. Now, I'm making videos lol, I'm using a go pro, but my audio is crap. What are you using?
Man... That means a lot! Appreciate it. For Audio... get ready for the sticker shock of good or relatively good audio. If you send me your go pro model, I will send you a list of what you will need. Feel free to write me at my email address found on my about page.
Somewhat new here, but definitely stepping my game up… saving for a pedal yak and electronics. Thanks for the info! Do you still run that 10ah battery for your 93sv?
@@wendellfishing I scoured your channel and watched a bunch of other videos, including the install haha. Glad to see - I’m planning on getting the same battery. I also looked for more fishing videos but didn’t see too many. You do provide a ton of information though, which is great. Tight lines!
@@thatfishingnoob Right on brother.. I am actually shooting two fishing videos this weekend. So we will see how they go with the twist I'm gonna give em
I got given a kayak and I'm wondering if it would be possible to use for fishing. It's not a fishing kayak, it's more just a recreational one. I would be fishing salt water. At first I'd just fish within a bay by the local port which is quite sheltered, but at some point I'd like to consider open water, although I'm kinda terrified of that. But do you think a kayak like that could be fitted for some basic fishing?
I'm buying a fishing kayak within next month... the only question is where to put it because I live in an apartment lol. If anyone has any good recommendations for a kayak in Canada for under... 800 bucks lemme know. Hoping maybe a cheaper Canadian Tire kayak with some mods will do the trick.
@@wendellfishing way I see it, if I’m going to invest money into a kayak if rather get something that imo would last longer and be less prone to issues. I’ll figure out a way to store things 😂. I know a guy in a similar situation that leaves his kayaks on his roof racks almost all year around 😅
Stop mentioning your NRS RAKU because I have buyers remorse after spending $150 on my NRS Chinook Seriously, I love the Chinook but DAMN, that sleek backed RAKU rocks!

I dont know about other states but in WA no tags required on a boat under 16 ft with a motor under 10 hp
so most fishing kayaks would be ok
