5:36 Double summed it up there. I always say this but that era of grime didn't get enough credit for the level of talent. Those set of MCs (Double/Marvell, Chip, Icekid, Griminal, Dot Rotten, Merky Ace, Voltage, Realist, Maxsta, Stelf, Maverick etc) that came out in the mid to late 2000s were phenomenal. They get overlooked so much in grime history, it's as if it never happened.
MrVIP1993 mentioning niche artists like Maverick . You truly are a grime connoisseur . Passion Fruit with Lady Ny was a phenomenal song

Enjoyed this, I'm not even from there but Tottenham has produced some of the most technically gifted rappers this country has seen, Double S being one of them. On a side note, you guys should get actually get G FrSH on here, definitely one of the smartest people in the industry.

they got it wrong about chip .. he was just an all rounder .. started his career as a battle mc , not necessarily a direct diss track but the structure of his bars are battle-like . he just knew how to make songs & songs that work

good shit. hope to see double doing more soon. i banged marvell back in the day. double was always the most talented spitter out the 3, shocka has bars but his flow is a bit suspect, vertext was decent but not really great.
