In reality, Home Free has 5 tenors, 2 baritones and 2 basses. Adam Rupp sings a small bit in How Great Thou Art. He sings tenor with Brothers in Arms, Go Rest High on that Mountain, Helplessly Hoping....and a few others. #HomeFree
Tim was once asked who in Home Free has the largest vocal range and without hesitation he answered: Adam So it’s probably more like 5 tenors, 3 or 4 baritones and 2 or 3 basses. Not to mention they can all beatbox to some degree…
Adam Rupp, co. Founder of Home Free with his brother Chris, was encouraged to perfect his beat boxing skills by his brother. He actually has a beautiful tenor voice, but chooses to remain as the fulfilling “glue” that completes the Home Free sound. You will occasionally see him singing harmony, but continues to be, perhaps, the most important part of the Home Free magic.
@@carolyntaylor7 HF likes to add touches of HF magic to a piece of music. I'd say Chance's bit was that. 😊 Me, I improve vocal music by keeping my mouth shut! 😂
I hope I’m not repeating my suggestions, but here goes: “I Can’t Outrun You “- Chance lead, it’s 5 part harmony, so Adam provides his voice, hauntingly beautiful, and Chance directed the video. He is also singing in his lower register; his voice is warm and enveloping. “ Helplessly Hoping”, another Chance project, 5 part harmony,so Adam is lending his voice. “How Great Thou Art”, Adam has a solo part where he sings “it is well with my soul”, and more 5 part harmony. You must react to “Do You Hear What I Hear?”. I never cared for this Christmas song; Home Free has made me love it. Adam Rupp did the arrangement, and it’s outstanding. “Angels We Have Heard On High “, more 5 part harmony, the arrangement sophisticated and beautiful, and Angelic Rob leads it off. “ End of the Road” has Gospel Rob in the main lead. Chance does the bass line in this. “Cover Me Up”- Chance lead, very emotional , and Adam provides very subtle and lovely percussion.
A conversation that probably happened.... Rob to the group "Hey we are going to need three tenors for this one", to which Tim replies "No problem, hey Chance you got the lows"... lol
They have loads of songs you haven’t done yet LOL. You haven’t done any of their originals yet..some of my favorite originals are Understand, Catch Me If You Can, Playin’ With Fire, the Stargazer Trilogy, Remember My Name and for Christmas Snow Globe and Cold Hard Cash. Thanks for another fun reaction! ❤️ #HomeFree
Chance used to be a bass in his past group before joining Home Free, he stepped into the baritone spot that was left when Chris left, but he is also a good bass, not as low as Tim, but Chance does do a lot of the background bass notes, and takes on the bass when Tim sings lead or as here in his tenor type voice. If you want to Hear Chance singing bass with his past group, check out "Madness" by Street Corner Symphony.
Adam sings beautiful harmonies in several songs, including O Holy Night, and Helplessly Hoping, but has a small solo feature in How great Thou Art. He has a beautiful tenor voice, and only became the vocal percussionist because nobody else would.
Sending strength and healing light to you. This one is on my everyday Playlist. Adam often sings harmony in the background but he does have a solo line on their " How Great Thou Art " To me he has such a pretty high tenor but with all the sounds he makes I'm sure he could do almost any range if he was willing to sing in front. He has said he is working on training his voice so I have hope. LoL. Chance was the bass in the group he was in before. Thanks for the Home Free reactions.
You beat me to that recommendation. It's From the Vault: Episode 19 from almost a year ago. It's probably my favorite Vault episode. "So artsy." Or maybe "super sexy."

How Great Thou Art is where Adam has a short solo. And in My Country Tis of Thee, but it is harder to pick out. And just to complete the "What!!??", they sing this in the same key that Cam did.
Chance carries the bass through this whole song, Tim was singing tenor up there with Rob and Austin through the song except for a couple notes along the way.
#CharityJar is a great idea ! Home Free are big supports of Kids Pets and Wounded Warriors as well as throwing a video out to support rescue and relief efforts after Storms
Adam had a verse in "How Great Thou Art", it is about half way and he sings a verse from another hymn at that point, "It Is Well With My Soul" as his solo. He also sings harmonies in "Brothers In Arms". Great reaction and Lee Jay the blessings of Grandparents is that they have known you through your years of growing and becoming an adult and loved you every step of the way. This is a cover, sung by a female country artist named Cam. They’re singing this in the same key she sang. If you want to hear some of Adam Rupp’s singing, you should hear them singing “Listen to the Music,” by the Doobie Brothers. His range is unbelievable, and he actually has more range in his voice than any of the others.
The guys chose to sing this in its original key as sung by Cam, a female country singer. Just proves their lack of having a female in the group is no detriment--they just let their profundo BASS handle it! 🤣 If you want to get a good dose of our amazing HF beatboxer singing, check out "Guilty Pleasures Hilariously Derailed". It's a longer video but SO worth it!! 🥰 LOVE the versatility of our amazingly talented fellas!! 🥰. Yes, a song with surprises. Tim who goes tenor, Austin and Rob who also hit different notes than usual, the inhuman vocal percussion and as a great end to the surprises the incredible bass of Chance. Simply fabulous Adam Rupp, the glue of Home Free, has a great Tenor voice. But when they started Home Free he started focusing on beatboxing. I’d love to see you start checking out some of their collaborations and originals but really, pick any song… as you’re learning, #HomeFree never disappoints!
This song is one of my favorites. We usually ask reactors to wait to react to this song till they are familiar with the individual members. Then they are surprised at hearing the switch ups in the voices. Tim who is known for his bass can sing in a beautiful higher tenor voice along with Austin & Rob. And Chance can hit the lower bass notes when needed. Adam did a fabulous job as always with his vocal percussion. The original song is sung by a woman Cam, so they sung it in a higher key to match the original range.
Loved the reaction. ^.^ Adam actually has a beautiful tenor voice. (you can hear him in "Brothers in Arms" " Auld Lang Syne" and the best one "Angel's We have Heard On High" He was never supposed to be the beat boxer, his brother Chris was.
One of the things most people miss in this HF rendition is the stomping they do through the whole song. I'm someone that has difficulty chewing gum and walking at the same time so for the guys to do the rhythmic stomping while singing so beautifully at the same time blows my mind. "How Great thou Art" Adam Rupp sings in an amazingly angelic voice. While Adam has an absolutely lovely voice he prefers to remain behind the scenes.
Adam Rupp does sing on How Great Thou Art, it is beautiful! This song is so very beautiful. Tim has a 5-octave range. Check him out on Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay it is so very awesome! Love your reactions!

It’s a good one. Glad you knew the group well as some reactors watch it and don’t know Tim’s the bass and is singing tenor! He’s just showing off his 5 octave range for ya. Chance is a bass but can’t go as low as Tim so he usually does the baritone but can also sing tenor too. They’re all so talented. If you want to hear Adam’s voice listen to How Great Thou Art, he has a small solo part he sings. He doesn’t like to sing by himself though so it’s rare to find. He will sing with 5 part harmonies they do on certain songs but it’s hard for me to hear his voice distinctly. Five part harmonies would be Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art. Good one boys! To hear bass and Chance try I Can’t Outrun You, Yours, Some Girls Do. 🥰😍

Chance is actually a bass but he normally sing baritone for the group. Tim has a 5 octave range. Adam Rupp sings a solo in How Great Thou Art. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
I'm so pleased that you recognized that this song was different right away. They are willing to do most everything, any genre. This was a really special song for them as it shows that they have more dimension. I'm trying to catch up with you since I just subscribed the other day. And thanks for having the Redhead on. I enjoy her reactions too! I love how you two are so expressive with your reactions. It's nice to laugh in the middle of the day!! #HomeFree
I love the harmonies in May day… Now you know how they are such a well balanced band! If someone is singing the high tenor there’s another person that can cover that part! There is respect between each of them to know that one person doesn’t always have to be lead!! For singing solos from Adam Rupp listen to all the things online, helplessly hoping, and how great thou art! Can switch from being the beatboxer to also singing in same song as needed! If anything this song shows you’re not to pigeonhole any of them into one voice range!! Glad you reacted to this one! Merry Christmas🎄🎅🏻
I think that might be an old-style automobile showroom they filmed this in. This would be ideal for Packards, or Bentleys and BMWs. Those showrooms (built in about the 40s?) have things like curtains and columns. At any rate, it's not a fast-food joint :D. Too much class :)
@@highlyreactivereactions welcome, there are a lot of good songs they covered and some they wrote themselves, not sure which ones you've seen though one of my favorites is champaign taste on a beer budget

Check out Stand by me.. their latest.. they are in a hangar, I think... and Adam sings AND beatboxes! also... check out their live video of Nine to Five.. the Dolly Parton song... and watch Adam do his magic.. and more.
It is getting close to Christmas, please react to Home Free's "Do You Hear What I Hear?" It has become my favourite Christmas song. It was arranged by Adam Rupp and it is out of this world. It is an older video, it has Chris Rupp still a member. You will not regret it!
Adam doesn't do many solos but he sings upper deck in songs with no beatboxing, especially. This song us by Cam, a female singer, and if not mistaken they left it in that same key/register. Impressive.
Adam is not much of a singer but you can hear him sing a little "All is Well" in the middle of their cover of "How Great Thou Art". He has no vocal training. He has always done beatboxing. I'm sure that's why he's so good. He has a music degree in music production or something like that. I don't know the official name for it. But he does all his own production of his percussion/beatboxing for their studio music. He met up with a YT reactor after a concert for drinks along with Chance and he told him he learned to sing from an app and he proceeded to show him the app he uses. So no, I would not classify him as being in the same catagory as the rest of them. But he sure is amazing at what he does.
To hear Adam, check out How Great Thou Art, and American Pie with Don McLean (towards the end), and Children Go Where I Send Thee with Kenny Rogers, Brothers In Arms. He has a beautiful tenor voice. He just likes beatboxing better but can sing.
I came here for the Home Free but you guys are hilarious. This is my favourite acapella group but if you want another amazing stunning acapella song as stunning as brothers in arms try Pentatonix Hallelujah. I cry every time. Then you will go down their rabbit hole. But I will always be a Home Fry
Regretfully they don't have a song with Adam singing Solo! We Home Fries have been requesting it, because in the videos that he does sing. He has a fantastic voice.
If you think that was high for Tim? My Maria with Austin Brown, Come go with me, Will you still love me/ Stay. Tim is a utility singer with 5 Octaves Tenor 1 to Bass. They all bring alot to the group. Chance himself is also a utility singer.
Adam sings s brief lead in How Great Thou Art. He sings in harmony when the song does not need beat boxing like How Great Thou Art, Helplessly Hoping, and Brother in Arms. He also has several videos of him doing a drum solo displaying his best boxing. He also does a solo and dance on the video Songs That Didn't Make me Cut. Christmas is coming up. Not only do they do classic hymns such as O Holy Night. They did a spiritual with the late Kenny Rogers in Children Go Where I Send Thee. They have the funny Grandma Got Run Over by Reindeer which has a brief cameo of Rob's Grandmother. They also have original Christmas songs. Tim wrote Snow Globe and Full of Cheer. Austin wrote fun song Cold Hard Cash. He also wrote The Warmest Winter about his grandmother after she died. You might be interested in Tim zi going lead tenor and some bass in Hooked On A Feeling with The Bass Gang. The Bass Gang is an acapella group composed of four basses. What is really interesting is that The Bass Gang is located in three continents. Two are from America, one from Easter Europe , and the fourth is from Egypt. The group members had never personally met until sometime after this video. They all extremely talented. Peter Barber, one of the Americans, is a professional opera singer who has a reaction channel. He analyzes music using his music training. He also does interviews with other artists, including Tim Foust. Tim singing with the Bass Gang is a fun video. Another good video is Tim and Austin singing My Maris. They are singing at Austin's backyard with some friends playing instruments. It's on Austin's channel. Also. listen to them talking after the song. The video was done during Covid.

#HOMEFREE
💯
Adam Rupp did a piece in How Great Thou Art
I'm so pleased that you recognized that this song was different right away. They are willing to do most everything, any genre. This was a really special song for them as it shows that they have more dimension. I'm trying to catch up with you since I just subscribed the other day. And thanks for having the Redhead on. I enjoy her reactions too! I love how you two are so expressive with your reactions. It's nice to laugh in the middle of the day!! #HomeFree
We defintely got to know Home Free alot better before reacting to this as per the Home Fry advice 😊
Watch their live Guilty Pleasures hilariously derailed. You get to hear Adam Rupp sing and also get to laugh your goofy heads off! # Home Free
We will have to check it out 😊
I love the harmonies in May day… Now you know how they are such a well balanced band!
They are amazing and we are pure loving them 😊
I think that might be an old-style automobile showroom they filmed this in. This would be ideal for Packards, or Bentleys and BMWs. Those showrooms (built in about the 40s?) have things like curtains and columns. At any rate, it's not a fast-food joint :D. Too much class :)
Thats makes sense 😊
If you haven't yet, just to be your man covered by home free is a good one
Thank you for the recommendation
@@highlyreactivereactions welcome, there are a lot of good songs they covered and some they wrote themselves, not sure which ones you've seen though one of my favorites is champaign taste on a beer budget
Sorry for your loss of your Grammy.. thats a tough one. Thanks for the great reactions..and thanks to both of you for all you do! No clue the location.. HF often boggles me with that.. Check out Stand by me.. their latest.. they are in a hangar, I think... and Adam sings AND beatboxes! also... check out their live video of Nine to Five.. the Dolly Parton song... and watch Adam do his magic.. and more.
Thank you for those kind words of support
Tim "Five Octave" Foust!! ❤❤
Mad respect
It is getting close to Christmas, please react to Home Free's "Do You Hear What I Hear?" It has become my favourite Christmas song. It was arranged by Adam Rupp and it is out of this world. It is an older video, it has Chris Rupp still a member. You will not regret it!
Thank you for the recommendation
Adam has a small vocal solo in How Great Thou Art, Hopelessly Hoping and a few others.
We will have to check it out
This is one of my favorites!! They killed this one. ❤
Loved it
You've GOT to give a listen to Tim Foust doing "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow / Stay"....I think it might cover all 5 octaves of his range.
Thank you for the recommendation
Adam doesn't do many solos but he sings upper deck in songs with no beatboxing, especially.
This song us by Cam, a female singer, and if not mistaken they left it in that same key/register. Impressive.
It's amazing
Adam is a bit shy of signing out front but, as previously suggested, "How Great Thou Art" has a small solo. As well as their song "Quarantine".
Bless. Then again he's got his talents and he's happy with that 😊
If you wanna hear Adam Rupp sing you need to look for their “guilty pleaser” song! You will also see Chris Rupp!
Thank you for the recommendation
If you want a Rupp solo, check out How Great Thou Art. He has a few lines in it. One of the few times you will hear him sing solo.
Thank you for the recommendation
To hear Adam, check out How Great Thou Art, and American Pie with Don McLean (towards the end), and Children Go Where I Send Thee with Kenny Rogers, Brothers In Arms. He has a beautiful tenor voice. He just likes beatboxing better but can sing.
Thank you for the recommendations
This was a Masterpiece
💯
Check out Tim's upper range in "My Maria" with Austin.

Thank you so much for the kind words and those recommendations 😊
Regretfully they don't have a song with Adam singing Solo! We Home Fries have been requesting it, because in the videos that he does sing. He has a fantastic voice.
He's still got his skills he brings 😊

If you think that was high for Tim? My Maria with Austin Brown, Come go with me, Will you still love me/ Stay. Tim is a utility singer with 5 Octaves Tenor 1 to Bass. They all bring alot to the group. Chance himself is also a utility singer.
The man's very talented and higher than we were expecting him to be

Snow Globe is the name.
Wow thank you for sharing that information 😊
