In the Bavarian Prealps that is almost always enough.
Observing the weather report several days in advance is essential.
You should always take the statements of local experts seriously; they often have knowledge of local weather phenomena.

What is “Tours by Backpack Taxi”?

They can even be filtered, e.g. by difficulty, height difference or whether they are suitable for children, etc.

das ist mir im Hochgebirgszug einmal passiert, bei einer ca. 18 Km langen Tour.
Zweimal das selbe Schuhband gerissen, da konnte ich die oberen Schnallen nicht mehr benutzen, ganz großer Mist.
Seit dem habe ich sie immer dabei, und nicht mehr gebraucht.
Aber man muss nicht immer nur an sich denken.

auch bei mir ist sicher nicht alles perfekt, aber damit habe ich die besten Erfahrungen gemacht.

Zur Regenkleidung habe ich für mich nur eine Regenjacke und einen Regenrock dabei. Der Regenrock kann auch als Unterlage auf einer nassen Bank dienen. Mein DIY Teil hat sogar ein Stück Paracord mit Endschlaufen zum abspannen. Ohne Hut natürlich eh nie. Breitkrempiger Wachsstoff-Hut oder einen spitzen Allgäuer Filzhut. Alles was im Rucksack ist, habe ich (nach Themen / Farben) unterteilt in Wasserdichten Packsäcken entsprechender Größe. Somit kann ich den Rucksack im Regen auspacken und es wird nichts nass. Eine Trinkblase und den gleichen Wasserfilter nutze ich auch. Also bis auf Kleinigkeiten alles gleich.

Das ist ein 26 Liter Rucksack, von fünf verschiedenen Größen die ich habe.
Für den Sommer reicht sicher ein 20 Liter Rucksack, wenn man ordentlich packt.
Ich habe ganz gerne etwas Luft nach oben.
