- After a week and a half of buffing the car is ready and I can finally start assembling her. I was going to have a shop do the buffing but after 3 days of the car being there they said that they could not buff it and wanted to reclear the whole car which I was not ok with since I put 4 coats of clear on the car when I sprayed it. But since I had to buff and polish it myself I now need to dedicate this week to getting the subframes started along with a few other issues I am having with procuring parts from Dodge.

Because he's 99% done, and now he's about to blow UP. & He deserves EVERY bit of it for all of the custom fabbing he did all by himself

Unlike the imposters, Dave actually took the time and even gave it the Chargers door handles. The original Magnum shared its door handles with the Chrysler 300. This is so beyond amazing.

The problem is, it's not an SUV, and everyone wants an SUV nowadays. Personally, I'd rather have a wagon but I know I'm in the minority.

This is an amazing idea. The magnum is a deceased dodge legend.
I love how the color changes in the lighting. It goes from such a vibrant blue in the light, to a deep midnight blue in the shadow. This car looks so amazing. When you were starting off, I never envisioned it would look so good to the point it looks factory.

Can't agree more with the gas monkey part, I mean they do have great builds but some became quite generic and at this level of resources and unlimited money they've reached a point where anything NOT cash-burning, factory-looking, celebrity-aimed monstrosity would surprise people. This BUILD here blows anything they do out of the water, the personal workmanship alone is on a whole different level. And this is ONE guy.
Dave is the only guys that says he's just gonna buy a Trackhawk and Charger hellcat widebody and keep a straight face! 😁

PPG clear applied the right way, wet sand, cut and buff with 3M with 3M pads and done.. Dave, weeks later and can you say burn through. Love the project and you attention to detail

As soon as the kid started taking about "paint correction" and clay bars, I knew you were in the wrong shop. Detailing an existing paint job, and cutting and buffing a fresh paint job really are apples and oranges.

Owned a 2005 dodge magnum rt with a few bolt ons paint and 22's had 2 more cars since then that were more expensive but the magnum still my favorite
