A fitting and highly deserved tribute to the greatest theatrical composer/lyricist ever. Sondheim has touched the lives of so many people with his extraordinary talent and his unfailing generosity. If Broadway were to last a thousand years, the name Sondheim would still shine out brighter than any.
To all my theatre friends....This is what a lot of worked for over the past year, The renaming of the Henry Miller Theatre to The Stephen Sondheim Theatre...whatch this...he had NO CLUE this was happening.

I clearly heard him say "Oh, what the fuck?!?" Best reaction to anything ever.
"Oh, C'mon!" That's wonderful!!!
I was so blessed to be in the audience that night. It was so thrilling!
That was a beautiful reaction. He needed a theatre named after him. Sondheim deserves this. ^^
Genius devoted to the thruth, whatever the way he expresses it. True even in his emmotionnal reactions. This is so mooving.
