It really was expected more tbh it’s understandable one may get nervous before the actual game however it shouldn’t be pressured although they did have time to practice before the actual battle itself.

For real, at least 50% of these first round influencers games are going to be terrible. Can't believe they made whole category for them. Just put Chann, Ginner, and Giger in the joes category and the whole thing would be much better. Those are the only three that actually deserve to be here imo.

I mean there is this whole Olympics and Covid/Travelling thing going on... when I'm seeing the teasers I'm sure the prerecord some games and release it slowly for weeks to compensate the games that are difficult to organize

I wouldn’t put it past Berra at all 😂 Probably wants the younger generation to see there’s a bigger difference than people think between insta skate dudes and pros when it comes to consistency. If anything this should motivate influencers/joes to make sure they got their shit down before showing up

@Robert M Ehh.. I think it takes time to edit the videos as well. Additionally, they probably need to get approved. Editors have lives too. Additionally, there is processing time that RUclips takes as well. They also need to make some revenue from this. Dripping these videos at least allows them to make some money from them so that people don't just skip to the end. Additionally, it allows for discussions to happen in the comments without everyone just going to the next video.
I think from the Berrics and the communities perspective, it's better the way they have it now.

I've posted this on 5 different clips for the last 5 years, why does the quality of berrics videos always look like they were filmed over 10 years ago? You have the hardware for it so why didn't uploads actually look like 1080p _years ago_ and still look like a sony handycam to this day? Maybe that's impossible I don't know but I believe other channels have been able to do it. Like almost 10 years ago.

So this is the "infleuncer" bracket...what exactly does Roy..."influence"? Dude's style is sketchy, and he could barely land anything, and he self-hyped he landed a backside flip since he wasnt landing anything. Garrett couldve won this blind folded and im not a Ginner fan, he skates like Shrock with a bow-legged style.
Berrics...i think i can speak for the majority of the commenters and say that adding double the skaters doesnt mean doubling the talent. Some of the influencers, fot example, shine on IG because they can edit what others see, and in games of skate on here they cant edit real life so they end up struggling, i thought you'd have learned from Hyun's complete let down prior.
Just have great talent, id rather there be 32 very well renounced flatground skaters that can make the games fun to watch, vs double the skaters and the games are cringeworthy to watch, it doesnt make anyone want to keep watching aside from the brackets where the talent has proven to be there.
I don't think it's fair to put hyun on the same platform as these influencers tbh
@@rxmink why not? It was said that the influencer bracket wasnt subjective to specific influencers, but inclusive to all of them, and Hyun is considered one. Plus with how the games went for the influencer bracket, he would fit right in because these games have been trash and Hyun skated like trash in his game by trying to replicate his ridiculous "steez" and even throwing a hail mary of fakie bigger spin kickflip as first trick on offense to throw the rest of the game away...why would he not belong or fit in the influencer bracket?

@@rxmink Also, not to embarrass him with an E on a safe trick. If he wanted to play conservatively, he could have made Roy cycle through a dozen tricks until he slipped twice. That would have been kinda boring, though, and Garrett knew he had it on lock.

You can tell a lot of these "influencers" haven't tried learning the basics and beat them into their head so much that you could do them in your sleep. They went straight to trying the weirdest tricks they could think of. You can tell because despite maybe learning the weird tricks or complicated ones they look so uncomfortable on a board. Like they've only been skating for a couple months or something. If you've been skating for years then you could fall asleep on a board and still be comfortable. Yeah you could be nervous, but nerves aren't gonna get you off your game that much.
