Are the functions Max and Large the same?

diff is with large you can find kth( 1st or 2nd or 3rd) largest

I tried =countif(range, "?*") for range filled with numbers, but it is showing 0. is it like "?*" takes only text and not numbers?

16:17 The date is in Cell A7 but you've choosen A2:A6..in that range only 2 Numbers come. How it becomes 3??

While using the function he has selected A2:A7, its just formula mistake while typing in the left-most column. That's why its showing "3"
