This was helpful. I’m in FL where hardly any products really help with frizz. I used just the curl perfector but then seen this video and added the xtreme gel over it. So far my 3c/4a curls are looking defined and feel hydrated. I’ll be back later when it’s fully dry. Let’s see how this holds up with the FL humidity 🤞🏽

Could be just that Sally's employees didn't know where to put it. I'm actually glad it doesn't have glycerin, I've been avoiding it as an experiment for a while now. You surprised me by trying it out! Tamanu has been studied as the ultimate wound healer, speeding up the scar tissue healing process and as a great moisturizer for the skin. So, I guess it also works similarly for hair😅. Now that it has your stamp of approval!!🎉🎉 I'm definitely making a return trip and picking it up! 😃 I'm wondering if this will pair well with my DIY Flaxseed Gel or my favorite (glycerin-free) stying gel? 🤔 Hey, you're just trying to appease the ones wondering about Mielle products. That pink line was the first one I tried & I did not like it for that same reason! But I gave Mielle a try again… like her other products and for the most part it hasn’t failed me yet lol! Thats why its always good to try other products from the brand.
I recommend trying their shampoos/ conditoners. Their Hawaiian ginger and oats & honey line give on wash day. Specifically The Hawaiian ginger overnight conditioner and the oats/ honey shampoo and conditioner. The Hawaiian ginger cream as a leave in and Hawaiian ginger gel also are lit (doesn’t give wetline tho lol).
This line is trash! My hair was such a frizz mess. I had to redone. I tried it cold and blah blah. Please trash!!! That leave in is a joke! Thank goodness I returned and got my coins. Don’t wast your time we have three different curl types in my house and this did not work for anyone. Thanks for being honest and keeping it 💯

Rayna I know you tried the Shea jbco gel about 9 or so months ago and it caused you flaking but did you know they’ve a Shea moisture coconut & hibiscus + flaxseed defining styling gel? Saw it in target and going to give it a try, 🤞🏾hopefully you do

How do you deal with breakage? I’ve never seen you have a ton of breakage when you work with your hair or when you’re detangling it on camera and I want that for myself!! My hair is growing but the breakage kills me on wash day, can you make a video on what you do to help with that in keeping your hair strong?
Hi hi! I do actually have a breakage. Mine is more at the nape and the middle of my head bc of ponytails. I have to up my protein bc it helps me a lot. I use aphogee 2 step!

Yes you shouldn't waste your time, but people who clicked this video expecting to see the product tested are having our time wasted when the contents don't match the video title. Most probably didn't click here to see gel tested with Mielle. Nonetheless the final results are nice and provide a takeaway for those who use gel.
But the title says new wash and go “combo”…….meaning, Mielle would be combined with something else. Also, I clearly showed how the cream looked without the gel and how it was not for me. But, thanks for watching.
I explained the product, described it, I applied the product on one section of my hair. I could tell from that section it would not work for me and my hair. The product says anti-frizz, my hair was frizzing just from the application. Instead of wasting your time and mine by continue to show you it didn’t work for me, i then turned it into a potential wash and go combo that someone can try out. Essentially showing you it can work as a leave in cream underneath a styler. Sounds like a true review to me.

It did not hold up. My hair looked nice when it dried but got frizzy and felt like straw after a few hours.
