@@CGShortcuts thanks! Do you have a video explaining how to freeze the animation once you make it? I want the pasta to stay completed in the bowl and not always animate in.

I use Octane to render these and not everyone has access to the plugin, so I dont always go through the process (as it's often the same steps each time). If you want to see exactly how I've done the lighting and texturing, all the final render ready project files (which include all the lighting, materials and render settings) can be downloaded from our Patreon page here: www.patreon.com/cgshortcuts we also hope to do more indepth courses and tutorials about lighting and rendering soon;) Thanks for watching!

HI! One problem! Even though I apply Simulation tags - Cloner - Soft body and Bowl - Collider body, the noodles do not seem to collide and just pass through the bowl...followed your tutorial exactly as shown. What could be the reason? Cinema R21

I dont know why but the noodles go through my bowl. I got a sphere and cut off the top half. Did everything that you did and still wont work. What did I do wrong

Hi! Thanks for your tutorial! I created a bowl of noodles by following your instruction. But I have some troubles on freeze the result of the simulation into an object so I can use it in other files. I tried all tutorials on the internet to bake the result. But the noodles immediately turn into straight lines instead of curved noodles.

I mean this is what I don't really like about C4D dynamics solver: 9 times out of 10 shit will get clipping, like those noodles spilling through the bowl, even if you add thickness to it. Houdini solvers are more precise and accurate in that sense. Still love good-ole Cinema tho

That‘s a really clever approach. I would have just made individual noodles with a soft body tag resulting in a very slow simulation. Thanks!
That's always an option;)
welcome back mate
Thanks mate! 😉👍

For me, I had to scale down the size of the bowel and also increase the concave.
Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same issue...
no

the noodles don't collide with the bowl but do with the floor, used the exact same tag for both, how do I fix this?

Nope, did they do something similar? We were asked ages ago for noodles - mainly because of the epic work from Roger Kilimanjaro

Same here.... I tried cloth surface to add thickness and then converted it to a poly surface. Still the piercing is happening...
Is it possible to bake this into keyframes?
