Its really great historical film. The story is lasting for 50 years and there is no any word, only music and costumes are the signs of time. We see the history of France and Europe. You canrecognise some persons. Fo a example after war there appears Churchil who provokes a cold war. Then there appears Jeann Gaben who is a simple good man
one of the best film ever no dialogs without verbality we get to know the strory and characters it shows the power of just acting and visuality and it is working so perfectly
I remember watching this movie on TV and my sister taped it on the old VHS I so loved this movie so much....the music the way it tells a different story to music and dance ....thankyou for uploading this movie I LOVE IT
Ettore Scola fut , a l'époque , le plus grand cinéaste Européen , ( avec F . Fellini , L .Visconti , V. de Sica et deux ou trois autres ... ) maintenant , Hélas . on attend les futurs génies ... ( tant que ce ne sont pas encore les pauvres clowns-woke d' Hollywood ) qui , depuis quelques temps font n'importe quoi ...
C’est pour moi le plus beau film qu’on est jamais réalisé. Et sans parole encore.

Com todo o respeito às outras opiniões....mas o filme é muito chato e monótono...se fosse mais compacto poderia até ser suportável...até passava...😢
