I really love that Lebanon Hanover explore new musical territories and soundscapes. The visual art in this video is beautifully surreal and eerie. The desert scene reminded me of David Lynch's DUNE from the 80's. It's also nice to see Butoh dance in a Goth video, haven't seen that in a very long time besides older Sopor Aeternus videos.
I love this. It has a Siouxsie feel to the music, incorporating Eastern scale and instrumentation. The visual effects give evolution to gothic surrealism as pure art. So impressed they've kicked it up ten notches!
An artistic highlight has succeeded. Dark mysterious forest, desert, the dance in ecstasy and various animations that make the whole thing even more eerie ... Iconic!
The music is brilliant and the dancing is phenomenal. I love when a music video is so good it not only drives me to check out the band's other music, but sends me off in all directions, looking up all the individual participants.

I know William is into Vedic spirituality and that many Europeans into that kind of thing secretly adopt radical politics but him and larissa spend so much time around the kind of subcultures that google and apple promote (LGBT ect) that i highly doubt their THAT kind of subversive, i mean they had a pro BLM facebook post on their social media not too long ago.

She said she heard them on tiktok and loved it which led to me introducing bands like Joy Division and The Cure which makes me a happy goth dad. We’ve found some great current bands together as well like Bedroom “In my head” & Mr.Kitty “Fragments”.

I clicked the video because the thumbnail was right up my alley and was very intriguing. ended up crying at 4:32, the female figure reminds me of all the maternal figures in my life who have endured plenty of pains....screaming to the void and somehow embracing it. What a tune , what a video.

There's a Dead Can Dance type Surrealism happening, as well as, a certain minimalism happening with the instrumentation. It's a beautiful nightmare and I like it.

Such beautiful stuff can only be created outside commercial chains. One can only imagine what a Lord Of The Rings movie would have been like if these minds had worked on it, without stupid special effects but with this sort of magic spirit. Talking about film: the singing reminded me somewhat of the unsettling singing during the masked ball in Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut, but it's not in reverse here.
Really beautiful art music video and stunning cinematic nostalgia vibes!! Been obsessed with this band since I found them back in 2015 and they have just gotten more an more unique, powerful and refined in their sound and in a good way!! They still keep that raw edge to their music and the dark, heavy, emotion of the goth post-punk wave with the empowering lyrics and dark, exciting synth soundscapes. What I love about Lebanon Hanover is that they sound so pure and nothing sounds very similar and that's what defines pure art from redundant, trendy art others create, they actually are inspired organically and you can hear, feel and see it!!
