jury duty a part of being American; when a good citizen ducks it, that can an often does, put a skank, unqualified multicultural who has no business even here, voting, or capable of making an honest and objective decision.
I know my comment is coming years late to some....but i really enjoy reading all the comments here especially the ones crom 8 and nine years ago. Thank you all.
5:44 the guard is like "I'm going to walk the HELL outta this scene. That's good, not to fast. Damn, walking like I'm a growing a tail. Calm. Fake it till you make it".

"Are my arms swinging too much? Damn, now they don't swing at all. Commence swinging again. I hope we're there soon."
5:34 The voice that says "7000, clear" is the voice of the guy that plays the business reporter and whose voice is in the opening. His voice was also used as a TV reporter. Any time they needed a voice, it was that guy. The inconsistency bugs me.
Rossi’s character is written to demonstrate a certain type of journalist (aggressive, insensitive, poor with social interaction and cues), and as a character he is written intentionally to be annoying and irritating, a little bit of a fop and comic foil. Fortunately, the writers were smart enough not to make him or the other characters merely caricatures and one dimensional. You might want to reflect on why his character is the one you seem to like so much.
She has her "ICE QUEEN" moments but not nearly as much as Constance McCashin had over on Knots Landing which had a lot of similarities with casting and writing styles.
The boxing match in the opening scene is actually Roberto Duran vs Esteban Dejesus 2. Hell of a fight
7:22 OMG this episode has an all star cast. Kene Holliday and Danny Glover!!!

Wow that ending scene is chilling! Spoiler alert but watch to the very end.
A lesser show would have had a prison riot. Thankfully Lou Grant was much more realistic and much less sensational. Great episode.
That would've been a Spelling show most likely
That ending was as chilling as could be. Pure Irony of the classes.
Not all, but many people in prison are victims themselves.
Art Trombley , many are mentally ill. We’ve essentially ended funding for mental health care and have penalized serious mental illness.
I just reckon this show is fantastic. It's a, it's a pity the film.
Wasn't looked after. But love the show!👍😉💯🇦🇺
Thought the TV was in a common room in prison?!
Robert Davi - Die Hard
Danny Glover - The Color Purple, Lethal Weapon 1-4
Thank you forgot about this great show.

Much Appreciation.
Thank You!

Rossi-"Lighten up!"-LMAO.
Lotta 1970s familiar faces!
Some of these episodes were a little flawed, like Andrew 1 and 2 on mental illness but it was still a great show in its time, late 70s early 80s.
Kene Holliday plays Tyler Hudson from "Matlock" for 3 seasons.
Danny Glover! Who could have guessed at the time.
and Kene Holliday who was in the Perry Mason movies
@@watchgoose Actually, Kene Holliday would go on to play Tyler Hudson in "Matlock" with Andy Griffith.
A young Danny Glover (pre Lethal Weapon).

Linda Kelsey looks good at 14:30..No bolt ons...all natural then..
16:52 Doesn't that guard look a lot like Michael Groh (Joe Gerard from Rhoda)?
@D Sullivan I was close... but yeah!
Wow, Billie was being a real bitch to Rossi- even more than usual. I'm glad he told her off. Rossi is the best. XD

This was really out of character for Billie. I think she was given those lines to give Rossi his say on this.

Nancy must not have been wearing her wig for this episode
Wow. Back when a TV show had a prison scene and they made sure they had a token white guy. Good thing social media was 20 years away or so.
What’s a newspaper?
I doubt if this episode is based on a true event as some other ones on the show
