I'll be direct, and this might sound harsh to a lot of you guys. This is definitely not an 8-band speaking sample.
She has committed a lot of grammatical errors; at best, she will receive 6 bands in the grammar section.
Her pronunciation is nice; however, her speaking lacks higher-level pronunciation features. So, she'll probably be marked a 7 in it.
Fluency and coherence are relatively good; she might receive an 8 in this section. Her answers were to the point although she did digress a little bit in task 2.
Even though she made a few errors in word choice, the overall scope of her vocabulary is quite good, and she'll probably get a 7 in this criterion.
So, all in all, this is a 7- band speaking sample. She still has some time left to improve if she's her test in August.
