@@abdu1wahid105 I think what Suarez did was fine. It's a smart play to stop a 100% goal and get a red card at the end of the game. The issue here isn't what he did, but that the rules somewhat allow it to happen

Mexico 1986 was Maradona at his absolute peak. I was 16 at the time and played in our high school team. Every young lad back then wanted to be Maradona. He was, and still is, the greatest icon of the beautiful game.

I’m Argentinian (born in 1982). Maradona was one if not the most famous person in my country and now having being living in Europe and met people from all the world I noticed that maradona was famous everywhere that’s so crazy to understand. We have our own famous people celebrities but never imagined that Maradona was admired by such quantity of people

Why this goal is considered the greatest is not only because of the incredible dribbling skills and composure of Maradona but also it was played on a sub-standard pitch in Mexico. Gary Linekar in his commentary states that to score such a goal on that type of pitch was possible only to a person like Maradona. Maradona was one of his kind, greatest of them all.

Diego was something from other planet. Even if he were playing in our time, he would compited as one of the best if not the best of all. Also, he had a personality as no other player had. The only problem of Diego was the lack of discipline during his prime.

As a third world country we all have a sympathy for Argentina. Further the south amrican game is a class while European game is mechanical and power game. Exception in Erupoe are the artful Italians. D10S ,el con el gol a los ingleses resumió su fútbol,en esa jugada demuestra todo lo que era,y sería,el mejor jugador de la historia,no es un gol hecho al azar,es un gol que coronaria todo su talento,es una obra maestra total,aunque el en ese mundial también dejaría otras más,necesito dos mundiales para que el mundo fuera testigo de este jugador venido de un planeta sin nombre
Fue un golazo, pero hay muchos goles que lo superan en técnica y espectacularidad. Ejemplos sobran en cualquier archivo.
Lo que más valió fue la circunstancia. No dormí la noche anterior, imagino que a muchos les habrá pasado lo mismo. Yo tenía 15 años, era el primer partido contra Inglaterra después de Malvinas, los que nos ganaron en la guerra podrían pisarnos la cabeza dejándonos afuera del mundial. Inglaterra venía muy sólida y ganando con autoridad, eran favoritos y candidatos, pero no lo podíamos permitir.
La tensión con la que se vivió ese partido no recuerdo volver a haberla vivido, por eso la explosión de alegría fue inconmensurable, la épica tiene sustento ahí, en lo que representaba ese partido y lo que se jugaba.
Tan es así que la final para mí fue una yapa, ese día y en ese momento ganamos todas las copas del mundo.
