He is going to say he was betrayed by people he trusted to keep his secret, but the reality is he is making no attempt to hide his condition from the world. We respect him because of the position he holds unjustly, not because of anything he is or says. We have respected many presidents who were less than optimal. Is any leader optimal? Let us all keep this in the proper perspective. We all knew, his party knew before he was elected that he was bordering incompetent then, and it has progressed. Not something to blame him for, is it? Their collusion in neglecting to be honest about his condition is a legal matter that will be addressed as it seems appropriate in coming months. As a fellow human whose Mom suffered from this condition, I have compassion on him personally. His position however, complicates things. His cabinet has done their best to keep things going, but now that he is showing his condition in public their spin doctors are not going to be able to convince anyone he is fit. It is odd that because of his position, he has power to fire anyone in government who crosses him and he is very irked by suggestions he is not fit, and this results in them not being able to keep him from speaking in public to further expose his condition. The only thing sadly funny about this is how far our culture and the state of journalism has gone into unfounded assertions that we are expected to believe, when in reality, most of us stay informed by reality.
