i have a recording from Hendrix Morrison it is called FHITA
I read in Some books that Jim Morrison and Hendrix were kind of friends outside The stage. I don't think that Hendrix disliked The Doors, 'cause The Doors were very Good jazz-blues-rock musicians...and Morrison was a very great poet, amazing singer and Unique frontman.

Yeah, Pink Floyd's first albums , he heard, did suck. I did not care for Led Zeppelin for a long time. I never cared for male singers with high feminine vocals. After I turned 30 I began listening to them and have a favorite play list. Kashmir, Since I've Been Loving You, How Many More Times, and I'm Gonna Leave You, are my top four. Jimi and most bands were intimidated by Jim Morison. Half of Jimi's best songs are covers, all of the Doors hit songs were originals. There has never been a song writer equal to Jim Morrison. They played together at the Isle of White.
This video reminded me of the teacher character in the Charlie Brown cartoons . All I heard was the " Wah-wah-wah , waaaah-wah wah , wop-wah wah , waaaah-waaaaa waaaaa ............
nobody liked jim morrison the drunk. not even his band mates. but the music he wrote was from another reality, much like hendrix's stuff. i bet he spent hours tripping and listening to morrison. we all did. music is the voice of the universe, it' needs no explanation, we are all programmed to receive, and the shamans like morrison, hendrix, santana, to name a few, bring it to us.

I don't know how true this is, but Hendrix's opinions are definitely on the wrong side of history. Time tells all, and since his death all 3 bands have grown in sales across generations, much like Jimmi's own music, but not as much as the other three.
