I've actually completed the whole game while obeying traffic rules. And I did this twice :) game's so immersive, that I couldn't resist doing that. Excluding of course few missions, where you actually had to drive fast, because otherwise you'd fail. In statistics, my average speed was 60 km/h, or aprox. 40mph. Best game I've ever played ;)
This game is so immense - so many car models, NPCs, sounds, of course the huge environment. How is that even possible? I remember times when there were 10 models of cars and 5 models of npcs...

I try to do this and keep failing missions because the game wants you to go fast apparently, already I failed the first tow truck stranger mission for running out of time (even though there was no time limit mentioned) and the mission where you repo the car from Michael and he holds a gun to Franklin's head because "You didn't follow Michael's instructions." Like bro we were just waiting at a red light, chill out lol.
I used to do this for fun, whenever my playstation plus would expire I just mess around and follow laws like what are you supposed to do after you finish the story??
Ugh this is so goddamn relaxing and satisfying. I had gta for ages before I couldn’t play it anymore and I miss it so much I playd like a normal citizen and had those maniac moments but gta was a real therapy for me. Thanks for making this 🫶🏻

Using a private driveway for turning, stopping on a crosswalk, not stopping for a pedestrian, and moving off on a yellow light. Almost causing a collision. Still, you would probably pass the Los Santos driving exam though.
They would be, but in IRL a lot of people go slow due to traffic buildup or congestion. Here in Scotland, Glasgow on the smart motorway system we have here speed limits are usually reduced to 40 mph only due to how much traffic is on them and also can be to roadworks. So in theory the AI being "sluggish" on the Highway does make somewhat sense.

Haven’t watched yet, you better be using controller so you can have smooth car movements. Keyboard movements are jerky and unnatural and doesn’t add to the realism.
I had fun obeying road laws, especially when driving a semi truck, but cars kept crashing into me, driving around me, honking at me, flipping me off, and drivers would get out and beat my ass. I of course defend myself, then get cops after me. I would honk at them when they did crazy, illegal, dangerous things and flip them off and get in fights.

100gb is a lot of space, back in the day gta was maybe 10 gbs at most.
