You should give a shot of the paytable before you start on each machine. You do it sometimes while you're showing which machine your playing. I want to root for you; but, sometimes I don't know what qualifies as a good winner.

Your spin on the Simpsons at $6/spin and other videos by people playing it with a higher bet like that kinda reconfirmed my thinking that the sweet spot for that game is the “high roller” $1.50/spin.
Of the 3 times I played that game (two of which were on the same machine), TWO of those times I got a total of 3 bonuses. The third time playing, I was betting the “high roller” $3/spin. (I had previously hit a nice bonus on it the day before) Had $100 in and nothing hit until I switched to “high roller” $1.50/spin when I had $20 left. Then I started to get some line hits. But nothing significant, and I ended up cashing out with nothing but change. The game play that time was VERY similar to yours in this video.
I know Slots may not work that way with different RNGs per bet level, but it sure feels like that on the Simpsons game.
