These are lovely bags made for a client. Was given a design to work with and I actually crafted out the design as given to me.

Before you stitch your gusset to your bag, you need to gum the gusset to the bag's body. Please kindly watch the tutorial again for a better understanding .

Thank you Aminat, all you have to do is to glue the gusset to the bag before stitching...... For the Machines, I make use of flatbed and cylinder bed machines.

Yes, you can. Sew separated and gum together
And also the finished bag shown here before making the tutorial, I can see swing lines round the bag, did you later sew

Nice videooooo. I like it. One thing can we see how you sew the sides in details with your cylinder arm machine. Those corner always give me trouble. Caribbean subscriber.
Ok next time. However, Before you stitch the gusset make sure the gusset is well glued to the bag....... For instance... Apply gum to the gusset and also to the bag, wait for it dry then glue them together...... Use your bag peg | Clip to hold it together before stitching.

what liquid you use before sewing ?
It's machine oil.. A form of lubricant.

Is it only gum we can use to fix the gusset to the bag, can’t we see the gusset to the bag
It is advisable go gum first before stitching..... To achieve the stitching aspect you need cylinder bed machine. However, if you don't have cylinder bed machine you can sew separately and gum them together or hand stitch. ❤️
