Excellent video….. loved your story telling and getting stuck in the mud was hilarious. Simple downed to earth bike chat…. Love it. New subscriber here :-)
City living breeds bad tempered people, move to the countryside my friend..... even better move up north, even more beautiful landscapes and friendly relaxed happy people👍🏼😉
If you leave the bike for more than 2 weeks without riding it, put it on charge for 1 day, then take it off. Repeat 1 day every two weeks and that should work. Make sure you use a good charger. The bike charges itself with the alternator when you ride but you need to ride for more than 15mins to recharge the starting voltage. Hope that helps
Thanks man just bought a tracer 2020 (first big bike) and I've been told to charge it all the time, didn't know you had to charge it like that. So your advice is appreciated. I think I will try a couple times a week. Would you recommend any bike trackers? I heard theyre very draining on the battery. Am I over thinking it? if you have an affiliate link I'll use it for a tracker. cheers @@SamVBikes
Some people have a bad experience once and they warn everyone! I only ever charged my Tracer once or twice in the 2+ years I owned it. Ride it regularly and it will be fine. If it needs charging that much, the alternator or battery needs replacing. I use Monimoto for trackera. They are battery ones that don't run off the bike. I've got a few vids on my channel, one where my mate steals my bike! I really like them, and much cheaper than the bigger name ones. They don't have all the features but are very good! There is an affiliate link in the description of those vids too I think
@@SamVBikes I really appreciate you're advice. Actually been more helpful than the guy at the garage. He said he's already installed a "biketrac lite" tracker which is all plugged in. Apparently they are really draining on the bike. I will see how it goes for a year. If it becomes over maintenance, I will disconnect and switch to minomato one and come back to use your link. ;)
That was really interesting, good sound and picture with great dialogue, can't wait for part 2
Thank you!
