Tyson knows Legends probably as well or better than anybody in the entire world. He has inspired me personally to continue restoring my 95 sedan aka Ka7. I've owned my Legend for 19 years and it's getting very close to 400K on the clock with the original engine still rolling, and rolling well, the C32. My Legend known as "blu" is truly a small part of my soul. It was in a wreck about 3 years ago now and I'm able to still drive it daily to my 60 mi round trip job. And continue staying on the verge of restoring it. I'm not going to go as far as restoring it like Tyson is this particular Legend. However, blu is going to be beautiful again. And for those of you who have never driven a Legend, I've had many cars in my lifetime. And have driven many more, but none have the soul, not even close, to what a G2 Acura Legend has. I could go on for the rest of the day, but I'll stop. Thank you Tyson for making these videos and all the support and being the spokesperson for one of the best cars ever built. 🌟
Hey that means a lot! And likewise, I know the love for these cars is mutual... there is something very special about them. Looking forward to seeing what you do with your blue G2!
Thank you my friend, and thank you for responding! You know I'm really interested in seeing how blu turns out myself 😉 Take it easy brother and I will be keeping tabs on your restore of this sedan. And I know the final product will be extraordinary, because that's how you roll. Take care Tyson and I still feel like at some point, we will shake hands. That's been on my to-do list for several years now 🙌🙌
Love the attention to detail with the restoration of the head unit and sourcing a set of factory mats for the car. Alan deserves an award for supplying those!
I remember when I was 14 or 15 Skateboarding through Ken Garff dealership seeing one of these and stopping via power slide. I looked in the window and thought; I hope I'm rich enough to have one of these one day.
Amazing job. It's an incredible thrill to see a Legend revive. Given the current trends in the automotive industry, such cars should live and remind of the proper level of engineering, reliability and quality.
Hi Tyson, your 1995 Legend interior looks nice and brand new, I like it. I can’t wait to see everything brand new. Your 1995 Legend will be brand new car soon. Great video. 👍🏼
Impressive progress! Man that was a HOT summer day at the junkyard. Jeff's Audio coming through 🎸Can't wait to see this project cross the finish line 😁
She’s coming along beautifully and she’s worth it. Always fun to see these videos. I just got my third Acura an 07 TL Type S automatic, with 217,000 miles, that I drove from California to Las Vegas just barely. Had some misfires during the drive up that I fixed now. It was a great deal. Exterior in great condition and interior in great condition as well. No rips or cracks but the engine and suspension need work. I’m fortunate enough to do a lot of it myself but some major parts are nationally back ordered. Still some fun times ahead.
Glad to see someone bringing back what was once a neglected car whose fate was headed to the junkyard. Just don't understand how one can spend $40k+ on a car back then and park it outside for mother nature to just destroy it. Great work Tyson!
This is awesome progress! You are going at it the right way, mechanicals first , but it sure is nice to see that interior come back. Man those were built so beautifully. I can never get enough of the interior of the Legend. Just beautiful. I love extra leather and wood. I find newer stuff, like leather seats , is stretched thin and interiors lack soul ..
I am sure you realize that you were 14 when that car was built in the factory. Fast forward to (nearly) age 41, and one of you held up while the other one... not so much. Ha. But by the time you're done with it (the movie Money Pit comes to mind), it will be PERFECT! Way to have such a passion! Maybe when I see it in January next year, restoration will be complete.
This is what passion for restoration is all about! Good luck Tyson and we all look forward to the final outcome - the journey is just as much fun so thanks for sharing.
All I can say is wow!!! What a transformation so far!! I remember when you first got this I was like OMG what a project! Your mom seems like such a cool person. Thanks for sharing great to get an update on the 95 Legend!
Hey thanks Jason! I know, mom is quite the character, glad to have her be part of this (even if just for a few seconds this episode). Stay tuned - much more to come. Hope your weekend is going well.
Amazing progress thus far with the total interior overhaul. Look forward to the next chapter, excited to see the new look after paint job. Wishing you all the best with the restoration.
Tyson, that's some great progress on the Legend! It's crazy how much work really goes into something like this, and these videos really highlight that, and are super interesting. The result on those seats is fabulous. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Love watching your car transformations. I think this is the most challenging one yet. Btw, you look great. You’re one of the few people who came out of the pandemic in better shape. I need to lose my pandemic weight :)
Amazing progress! Fully support "going all in" on a car longed over for 20 yrs. Can't wait to see the completed results of the hard work. Sending tons of encouragement :)
I envy you how easily you can get parts for your Legend in the US. For two years I've been driving my Legend without ABS, because the sensor in one wheel has broken and I cant find a new one😆 Anyway, I love watching this car slowly regain its former glory. Keep it up ;)
@@TysonHugie I got the impression from your videos that getting parts for old Hondas is much easier in the US. It only shows your stunning work with this cars. In Poland there is hardly ever any KA8 for parts to buy 😁
I just watched Jay Leno's Garage Honda Z600 episode on his youtube channel and though when is Tyson's Integra appearing? Nice to see that Legend restoration coming along.
The integra aired on season 7 episode 6 a couple weeks ago on CNBC. I’m not sure if it will hit regular RUclips. Email me if you want, I recorded the segment.
So cool to watch this transformation go through step-by-step, as opposed to waiting for a big reveal video. I like seeing the nitty-gritty of what goes into making this Legend showroom fresh once again. Gotta love paper speaker cones - did you use OEM speaker replacements or something aftermarket?
Hi Tyson, would u be interested in the 4dr 6spd version of your coupe. Needs paint and front seats redone. Been sitting for a couple of years now but I start it every couple of months.
Question Tyson? I am having a card time resetting my Bose system? It’s asking for a code ? Any help is appreciated buddy? This is on my 1993 Acura LS Legend? ❤️👍👏🏿🙌🏾🏆👊🏽 love your channel.
Yes in order to retrieve the code you may need to pull the radio out of the dash to get the serial number, then call Acura Client Relations. I did that once. Also sometimes people put the code on a sticker on the underside of the ash tray or somewhere on/in the glove box if you want to check there. It should be 5 digits.
I'm curious whose going to have the cheaper rebuilt legend coupe soon LOL. this car vs my targa legend coupe. I still have a worse dash than you though... well atleast for now. why does your burlwood console look so different color wise? lighting? i'm assuming refinished it just looks alot lighter than oem. but please do some modern upgrades to eliminate some items like the trunk springs and switch to the mini shock. so much better/easier
How do I even begin to start selling process for 95 Legend LS Coupe (same exterior/interior). Engine/transmission (all major parts) upkeep runs great. Jus needs a lil int/ext TLc 198,000k miles roughly. 1st car bought in 98 all stock everything. I just don’t wanna lowball it. If I had time, I’d restore it as well. Any advice helps. Bay Area California. Thanks to anyone replying
Truly satisfying watching these videos on the Legend Coupe restoration. Can’t wait till this gem is fully restored. Keep ‘em coming.
I appreciate that! And thank YOU! First time I've ever had a subscriber do a "Super Thanks." Appreciate the motivation.

I went with Rockford Fosgate replacements. Not sure if Bose still makes them for this car, and felt like it deserved an upgrade anyway! Thanks Tim!
Exceptional work as always Tyson! Remind us - what is the connection to this specific coupe from 20 years ago?
I gave the original owner my number in December 2000 when I was 18. It took 21 years until she finally told me she was ready to let it go.

Dick's Speedo Tach for the cluster. Jeff's Professional Audio Repair for the head unit.
