I actually just purchased these colors in the Freetress deep twist to try individual tree braids and I was afraid of my selections until I discovered your video. I love it! I was one that never wore wigs, weaves, or braids because I've always had long hair down my back. Going through menopause and stress I lost most of my hair. Now I'm having to resort to wigs, braids, and scarves which I can't stand anything on my head. You make this look so easy I will give it a try.....thank you posting your video
My Ma was very strict and conservative about mixing hair colors and textures. A couple of years ago, I followed your creative aura and started mixing colors and textures of crochet braids. I stay in the range of the darker colors and burgundy. I've even used several textures in just burgundy and it turned out very nicely. The other pattern that was very pretty was using 3 colors that got lighter towards the front and the #2 color really gives my face a glowy highlight! My TWA has grown out enough to start getting back into crochet styles. I still use black wool yarn because it helps my grip and holds in moisture. I may try thos new texture. Thanks for sharing

That’s good! The hair I had braided in is shedding all the time. I have to sweep my bathroom floor often because of hair. With Kim’s Hair would I have to wet in the morning to straighten it out?
I’ve had to trim the ends twice so far, the light colors frizz so easily. I think I will keep it in for about a month. It’s been low to moderate maintenance so far.
Truth? I was being lazy! Good catch- no I didn’t but I made it very full on the top to cover the back. 😉 I change it up sometimes especially when I don’t have someone to do the bridge braid for me. 🙈
@@MarissaJOAT ahhh so it's easier to braid back? I'm about to braid my hair. I'm not sure if I should braid this way or attempt a bridge braid because I don't have full hair. Also debating if I should braid the back straight down or zig zag. Decisions decisions. I'm just a novice so I want the easiest way.
I tried the slip knot method and it WORKS! My ocean wave crochet style did not slip out at all during the 2 months I left them in!!!!!!!!!!😉

Synthetic hair can matte up so cut out any matted pieces, use mousse and hair polisher to refresh it don’t over do it.

You are right it frizzes faster than the darker colors. She used alcohol free mousse and polisher once every 2 weeks.
