    For that spear point Japanese knife, do you have to hammer the back, as you do with the Kanna blades?

      Certainly haven't had to yet, after several years use

      @@mitchwoodwork perfect, thanks for the response! I need a larger marking knife, and was interested in the spear point Japanese knife. Have you gotten the Kanna tuned up completely, to truly smooth the wood? I enjoyed watching the Kanna video you posted

      The kanna was working great when I last had it out. I'll try and use it in a future video.
