cool stuff dude! I'm still learning how to play guitar and wanted to ask what rock band should I start out with in terms of learning their songs because I really enjoy this kind of music and would love to be able to play songs like this eventually. Oh and I forgot to say thank you for aspiring me to play guitar! About 3-4 years ago I watched and listened to a video of you playing fade away by breaking Benjamin and it was amazing! Every since watching that video I've started taking guitar lessons and have been working my way to being able to play that song the way that you did. So thank you for that! :)
Awesome! Glad I could be an inspiration! As for bands to start out with, Three Days Grace is a good one. They're stuff is very simplistic and straightforward, a good band delve into first.
I know this video is older and it's 2020 but was learning this song on my Ibanez iron label baritone and those bar chords are almost impossible to play what gauge strings are you using on that PRS going to restoring mine fir this song....
This is a Schecter baritone I'm using here. I generally use a 7-string set on it minus the high E string obviously. 13-59. That 1st fret to 5th fret stretch is tough to play on an extended scale guitar, I'd imagine they use regular scaled guitars with just big ol' strings on it.
Thanks man! The guitar is a Schecter Blackjack SLS EX-P. I know some people have asked for it but I really don't do tabs anymore but since a decent amount of people want the tab for this one, I might make an exception.
MysticGuitar77 I have to say man you have an amazing taste in music and in guitars! Pop evil is a band who’s song always keep me up even on bad days and Schecter has that sound you need for the perfect tone (I would understand since I own a Hellraiser C7 x3)
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out that squeal. Are you hovering over the fret or am I missing something? Nice playing by the way. Thanks for the tab!
Your thumb and pick have to hit the string at the same time. If you do it right, you'll get the squeal. You also have to put a bend on it or vibrato otherwise the note will die out right away.
It takes a lot of practice to get it right, I still can't do it. You have to hit the string with your thumb and pick at the exact same time with a bend on a harmonic. Harmonics are on the 5th, 7th, and 12th frets.
bloody brilliant mate makes me want to push on to stop being a part of a song player and push to do the hole song love it mate can i ask where did you learn this from as there are no tabs for it to buy or free please
MysticGuitar77 yes please mate cant believe you do it by ear. That's brill. going to take me while to learn this from watching ya vids on super slow lol hahah thanks mate brilliant

@@MysticGuitar77 BTW thanks for the tabs 😎🤘
You rock ! Wanting to learn how to play guitar actually is this an easy song for beginners ?
Nope. Definitely with that chorus fingering. That's a stretch even for experienced players. Also need to learn the "chug" method used a lot in metal
Nice cover! What is that beauty you're playing?
I know people have been asking for tabs in the comments but have you considered making them?
Thanks man! The guitar is a Schecter Blackjack SLS EX-P. I know some people have asked for it but I really don't do tabs anymore but since a decent amount of people want the tab for this one, I might make an exception.
