  • The province of Ilocos Norte, located in the northern west of the mainland Luzon, is worth visiting even though it is far from the Metro. In some seasons, it receives good swells from the West Philippine Sea, making it a great place to surf.
The Cordilleras ranges, the provinces of Cagayan in the northeast, Apayao and Abra in the east, and Ilocos Sur in the south all abut it, providing an equally picturesque journey.

Ilocos Norte is best visited throughout the year, but if you want to get the most out of your trip, you might as well plan it for January through the first few weeks of June and September through December. However, keep in mind that the country's dry season (March to May) can be extremely hot. On the other hand, July through September would be the ideal time of year to go if you want to surf or windsurf.
I've had Ilocos Norte on my list for a long time, and I've been eager to see its attractions without realizing there were more to see. We had the good fortune to visit both the new and popular attractions as well as some that are less frequented during our trip this year. These include the following:
    Solsona-Apayao Road
    Luna Shrine
    Paoay Church
    Paoay Lake Waterpark
    Balay San Nicolas
    Badoc Island
    La Milagrosa Cove and Chapel
Malacanang of the North (Balay ti Amianan)
    Macagutgot Cove
    Paoay Sand Dunes
La Paz Sand Dunes in Laoag City
    Saud Beach
    Blue Lagoon
    Kabigan Falls
    Patapat Viaduct
    EDC Burgos Wind Farm
    Kapurpurawan Rock Formation
    Cape Bojeador
    Madongan Dam
    Bangui Windmills
    Bacarra Church and Museum
Travel Videos, Food Vlogs, Mountaineering, Barkada Vlogs, Current Events
