Hi, yes, this is excellent! Question, you show the first pour sealing up the side, and then you skip to the second pour, but in between don't you need to flip the first mold and remove all of the support clay and leave the form in the first mold and then pour the second on top. I inferred that from your video, is that correct? I am about to take that step and want to be sure.
He showed the mold being upside down over the bucket. That way, the excess material comes out and only the sides are coated. It works the same way as it does with chocolate molds.
I'm not liking that you did some editing you not showing how you made the registration mark doesn't help when someone is trying to learn the whole process
Do you think it's possible the camera didn't work for some reason. This process takes many many hours. I'm just thankful they provided what they did for FREE!!
You can always take a small ball and press it into the clay to make indents for the registration marks. Then follow the rest of the steps they show. Hope this helps.
Excellent video... very good... really cool that you shared the whole process... perfect... congratulations...

what type of clay did you use in the first part to mount the glass?
Anything scrap you have
Got it, do you have a go to for your molds?
@@eliotrandallwNo we just use left over hard crappy clay. Most of it will get thrown out.

I can't understand how after dumping the material, the result is a piece that comes out hollow! There is a step you didn't show. 🤔

He's not saying the video as tutorial/guide tho
Ya it was simply to show clients a bit of the process not really a teaching vid.
