I love the bit of Maria training with Ogawa in the OP. She is so worried about her weakness and strength in the last season. Now she is training with a literal magic ninja to try and become stronger.
The direct feedback system in this episode is what Ver used to control the Shen-Shou-Jing and Miku back in G, so that's a nice callback International Man Of Mystery Dr Ver eternal king of the clffhanger, you can't keep the Last Action Hero down That invisible ship the Illuminati is on in the final scene is the sister ship to that of the one used by the Val Verde military official in the opening scene of ep1, that was what they meant by the toys they took from Val Verdee
Chris literally had to face the trolley problem with Stephan's situation. Either watch Stephan die but not be directly responsible for his death, or shoot his left off to save him, but destroy his career at soccer. Ugh...not HIM again...i am so done with him, just get him out of here....yeah, in case i didn't make it clear before, i hate Dr. Ver, he is second only to world's "best" dad: Fudo...speaking of Fudo, we finally got to see him...great... Also, this episode had 2 of my favourite Symphogear quotes: "Even though i'm breathing, i feel dead" -Kirika Akatsuki "You don't need to win, just don't lose" -Miku Kohinata Also, that Hibiki blush! We are finally showing Hibiki being absolutely head over heels for Miku! (Not like it wasn't obvious before)
This is where the 'love' Dr. Ver comes to a meaning, the foreshadowing will be mind-blowing. Chris did have a hard time getting in terms with the choice she had to do for Stefan to live, but I still believe it was the only correct choice. There will be a very interesting foreshadowing on the topic of the ignite module, they did put a lot of past season references in the last two. For Tsubasa's biological father Fudo we finally got to see him, so a kind of dark question, is Tsubasa technically the younger sister to Genjuro and Yatsuhiro (her actual dad)?

Dr. Ver refuses to die even after death!
