Patient's Agonising Back Pain Leaves Him Paralysed | Inside The Ambulance | Real Responders

Paramedics are called to the scene of a man with back pain so intense he's been left paralysed. As they arrive they see the man on all fours, unable to move. Elsewhere, paramedics take an elderly woman with potential heart problems to hospital. The paramedics reassure the poor patient, who feels she is a nuisance, that she is not a burden to her neighbours or the paramedics. A man with intense stomach pain with a potential life threatening cyst is rushed to hospital.
For the very first time, an ambulance has been rigged with cameras that provide a unique perspective on what it's like to respond to emergency calls. 'Inside The Ambulance' follows paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service in England as they take us right into the heart of the action. We see heroism at work in the actions of these first responders. We also enter the lives of people in crisis and learn their unique stories.
