Thanks Olli for a more in-depth view of the system you quickly mentioned in your previous video. If they ever come up with a string-free yacht that's the day I quit sailing!! On this system It's nice to see you are "string-rich" but as you say that only leads to unwanted friction. It will be interesting to see what you come up with during winter lay-up while you refine the system but unfortunately I cannot adopt this rig as my boat is that little bit too big. Thanks Rej for your comment. It’s a pleasure. I couldn’t imagine a string free yacht! It would certainly take the fun out of things. Yes there is lots of string with this system. Which I personally love but does come with it’s set backs. And as it of a snake pit in the cockpit floor!😂 I do enjoy tinkering when not sailing. I think I’m going to go all out with this system. The proper mast fitting and carbon poles quite possibly. I’d better nurture the boat fund! I’ll be sure to report back! Many thanks and all the best to you. ⛵️
