I really find it magic, when I listen to this waltz I feel transported in another universe. I feel at the same time the intense pain and pure joy of the piece that's rly incredible
Wow...!!! Didn't know...this waltz is my beloved too...))) I like it even when I listen to the bad performance of it...))) even then it doesn't lose its beauty and speaks for itself...))) divine...
Thanks you Chopinist for posting this video. I was searching RUclips and I can’t find a video with this piece. Then I saw yours! There was only 2 videos and this one was the best. Thank you so much for this video!
I'm gonna use your version of this A minor Chopin Waltz for my Dad's funerals. He LOVED piano, ans was a GREAT walzer. And when I would play it , as a teenager, he would listen.... This sad nostalgic walk by Chopin is just what I want to give him as a last gift. Huge thanks for uploading this music.
You've always make me feel so beautiful with your videos from the best composer ever lived on this planet, really emotional waltz as everything is from Chopin. There is no something for what you can say "this is my favorite Chopin's composition", you simply fell in love with his music. Just keep it up, I'm glad because I can see you're loving his music through your video-versions of his music. Just keep it up !!! 😊😊😊
Hey hope you're still here after 1 year 🤣 yeah I agree, and it seems to me that most of even Chopin's happier sounding pieces have some melancholy to them somewhere.
long dang, if you can sight read this will be done in 2 weeks. But if you can‘t sight read I would recommend you searching a shorter piece if you hate to be working on a piece for a long time. But if you haven’t got any problem with working for a while on that piece at give it a try. Good luck!
this song is more for an intermediate level, but i think that roughly a few weeks would do good, as long as you have decent technique, sight reading skills, and understanding in keys
if you really want to play it you will be able to play it, the best thing to do is make the playback speed 0.25 and practice it. personally i like learning right hand first then left hand. after that what i do is i use the piano's record function to record my right hand and practice the left hand on it to perfect the timing. then speed will naturally come.
im an adult beginner too! i have been playing piano for half a year self-taught, and today is my fifth day learning this piece. im still practicing up to 1:05 i can read them but my memories is bad lol so i keep repeating practice those 2 pages for like 2 days? and im still stumbling ahah,,
Chopin's music changed my life!
Mine too. I used to play hardrock guitar, now i'm working on many Chopin pieces. Working as in; they're never finished.
Mine too
Only the truth
Yep, Chopin's music really helped me get over this girl who broke my heart....
But no one asked so just ignore me 🤣
Mine too actually
This is by far the longest chopin waltz. He liked it so much that he just didn't want it to end, clearly.
I think Grand Valse Brillante in E flat major is longer.
@@manuelschlotterflosse1459 its called hyperbole and indifferent approximation
@@aldoringo439 I remember when I learnt that in school. I thought it said hyper bole. Lol
As per Wikipedia, the longest Chopin waltz is Op.34 #1, the previous Chopin waltz in this set.
I'm glad you like it Messi
I love the simple purity of this piece.

This waltz gives me many memories :')
True fact:
This was told to be Chopins favourite piece he wrote
Frederic Chopin ahhh yes 5 hours ago comment
Frederic Chopin for real???
I thought it was tristesse
@@SerpongeDash No, It was his Ballade no 1.
He was very proud on some of his works including his Etude Op. 10 no. 3, his first Ballade, and this waltz.
This is Chopin's favorite waltz. Let that sink in...
Never have found this one yet on youtube
Great videos!
1:28 is so much inspired from the cantabile in b flat major !
Is this the best Chopin Waltz or what. I like it!
Francis Mensah it’s one of the best, but then again, I’d argue that all of the waltzes are the best! I’m 100% biased in Chopin’s favour lol
Op 34 no 1 and 3 beat this as too many repeats
@@UncleBenPackWatch not at all, repeats make a nice melody even nicer
im learning this for a competition , wish me luck 🙏
Why so sad⋯ I barely hold it not to cry

Finally great to hear from you again!! This waltz is one of my favorites! You're doing a great job!
One of the darkest piece ever written by chopin

I can’t decide.... Do I like Chopin more? Or Chopin?
I personally think Chopin.

They're both the same.

Beautiful
4:30 remind me another piece by Chopin but I can't remember which was it.
It kind of sounds like the beginning of Ballade 2. Kind of
It remind me his etude op25 no 7 with left hand voice
Op 25 no 1?
I agree, it may be the 2nd Ballade. But some seconds later in the RH i hear a bit of op 27 no 2 (Db major Nocturne) as well.
Sounds a bit like the bit in ballde no.4
Yessssss i love this piece!!!!! Like :)
Super!
The beginning sounds like a dark version of the flower duet
The start is like melancholic

ShadowShinobi108 yooooo I‘m here
Ngl Chopin‘s style is sad af, so A lot of pieces has melancholic feelings in it, and that‘s why I love chopin 🥰
I hope u still here

can you do waltz op 64 no 1 next? would love it so much.
I'll finish all the waltzes soon
mas alla del.olvido 1956
This waltz almost sounds like a nocturne
It is!
How hard is this to play? I can play op 64 no 2, is this a decent step up from that?
Easy to play but hard
ItzBen21 That’s one of the best explanations I’ve heard. Yes, this is easy to play but requires some serious detailed voicing.
@@lisztomani4c MAN! I have seen you everywhere on youtube where there it is related to that of Liszt or Chopin! You are really keen.
Ez to read
Hard to play
If you can play 64-2 you should be able to play this. IMO 64-2 is slightly more difficult than this.
there's a mistake in 4:04 and starting g note in 4:19 should be shorter
Ahah, also noticed 4-19
1:06 just for me
