We’re always going on about Lewis’ age but never about that of Fernando Alonso who is a few years older. ( 42?) Alonso’s car is just so bad but nobody ever thinks it might be Alonso’s age that is responsible for the poor performances.
Amen. Yuki is too vocal and would call redFIAbull's B.S that gives advantages to max. (sabotaging Yuki's car to make max look better. Like they clearly did to perez who allowed it to stay in F1
All F1 commentators & fans know that winning WDC and WCC titles is a 'team effort'. Why has the Red Bull team management decided to seriously crippled Max, next year, by appointing Lawson as his team mate? .......... Just like Toto's decision to cripple Hamilton's chances of winning any WDC's when he recruited Russell to destroy the Mercedes teams unity & focus!
Please make no mistake… by his own admission Max has been a bonus dad to P since 2019… so the argument stands null and void… he is already a father to his step daughter P and so the advent of his own child wouldn’t change much methinks.
I mean Yuki has been told to stay in his place by Red Bull and a lot of people are pissed off about that, but Liam should do that because reasons. How dare Liam have some racing ambition(?), even if it has the potential to lead to his down fall. Liam gets it and is being cautious. But, everyone is not liking him right now because he got the seat when Yuki should have. Yes, Yuki got screwed over because Red Bull thinks he is ultimately too "inconsistent"...even after what went down with Checo for two seasons. RESPECT you and those who disagree with my thoughts, but I just want to see what he can do and if he gets "destroyed" and chooses the hard way to learn then that is fine as long as he put in 100%. Beyond that (admittedly) I'm not in Liam's head so I don't if he is thinking crazy, but I don't think he is stupid.
Lando has peaked. Love the kid, he’s proper fast but like 85% of the field he cannot win without the fastest car by far. Very few race drivers can win without the stamped fastest car. I’m talking of Lewis, Max, Fernando, on the grid right now.
@ yeah and it sucks that he and Verstappen both had 8 poles this year because really Verstappen lost 2 poles, one because of grid penalty and another because of the Russell incident. Really it should be 8-6
There you GO Franz Tost just CONFIRMED my views in my statement a few minutes ago. That is MAX is one of the greatest OF ALL TIME even better than Shoemaker & Senna !! NOTE HE DIDN"T EVEN NMENTION LEWIS ??? I also totally agree with his comments on Liam who has NO IDEA as to what's coming for him. He doesn't have the NECESSARY MINERALS and will end UP like many before him like Sainz, Albon, DeVrees, Perez etc etc. ???
Liam mustn’t become to big for his bridges this soon. I’ve watched his victory tour up to now. Keep your head clean. As a fellow Dutchman I understand somewhat of Max’s attitude towards all them off-track duties. There’s that (translated) Dutch saying that goes like this: “Act normal, that’s crazy enough”. This could be part of his old-school Dutch upbringing and part of dislike of all that glitter and glamour that has nothing to do with racing. I can’t wait for March 2025.
Some interesting facts for the top 2 drivers in this years championship that should put expectations of Liam into perspective: 1. Max wasn't the #1 Red Bull Driver until his 4th full season in F1 2. Norris didn't have a single win until his 6th season in F1, in his first 2 seasons, he only had 1 podium! A realistic benchmark for a rookie doing a decent job in a decent car was Piastri's 2023 season, when he came 9th in the championship. That included 2 podium results. At the end of last season the Red Bull was behind all of Ferrari, MacLaren and Mercedes, as the 4th fastest car.
Think that is why they put him in the car: Basically the team can now say, 'hold station, never challenge Max'. Yuki would have charged on Max no matter what 😂
We've seen Yuki do it AFTER a race with a divebomb. I think that scared all TPs in F1 shitless. There's bound to be more where that came from, considering how little it took.
@Cameron the odds are much more depend on expected betting volumes per driver and therefore the odds in the UK will ‘favour’ the British drivers to win the championship. Simply because the biased British punters are more likely to put their money on Lando than on Max the odds ‘favour’ Lando. The odds reflect the betting market and protect the bottom line of the brokers.
Max's 2021 season was simply better than Lewis's, taking into account Silverstone, Baku and Abu Dhabi, Max had the overhand. When you look at car pace, the Mercedes was amazing especially in the 2nd half of the season. Their decision to burn through engines and take penalties worked oddly well. They could get a lot more performance by destroying them faster than the rules intended R&D to work towards. Rocketship, rendering grid penalties almost pointless.
After Christian Horner's obvious defection in favor of Lawson, when do you think Max will follow his Dad's advice & leave the Red Bull team , whose management has clearly deserted him?
@@Matt04108 Really!!! Max had to prove his outstanding talent & capabilities, in the junior team for 12 months, before being promoted to the senior team! While Lawson was promoted to the senior team after only 6 below average races in the junior team!!! Now do you understand why the Red Bull management has seriously upset Max & his Dad?
@@Matt04108 Max took 12 months to prove his worth to the senior team. Lawson took 6 below average races to prove his worth to the senior team. No Red Bull driver was as highly rated as Lawson is now. As a Max fan, does that insult make sense to you?
@@midas7394 It seems you have become a fan of F1 this season, I was watching last year when Lawson had another 5 races, which included outqualifying all of Max, Checo and Yuki at Singapore in his 3rd ever race weekend and beating Yuki 4-1 in feature races. F1 is all about timing, when spots become available, decisions are made. Note that Max was only 17 when he joined F1, and he hadn't even competed in F2. It made sense for him to spend some time in the junior team. By comparison Lawson has already competed for championships against experienced adult drivers in DTM (thrashing his team mate Albon), and in Super Formula (closer to F1 cars than F2 is), against adults who had been driving these cars and tracks for years.
It's possible that this is taking similar amounts of commitment from Max as 2016 took from Rosberg. Max might actually tire from putting in this much. Baku is his almost scheduled off-weekend, out of 24 and even there he does a lot to develop the car and lose as few points as possible.
Every teamboss in F1 thinks Max is the best in 2024 Maximimum points (250) ...but the F1 powerrankings thinks Lando is better....no British bias at all...
For HAM to get 8th, he's need a lesser teammate and superior car while being at his best himself. That's a lot to ask for. Have we EVER seen someone get their form back when declining with age?
‘“A lesser teammate” …..Like Verstappen has had for his entire career 😂😂😂. Get ready for the implosion of RedbullCheats and Goldenboy…..2021 remains the Robbery of the Century…gtfo😉. Maybe only Ricciardo (in his RB time) and Sainz in 2015 were on par if not faster than Verstappen at the time, but MV is a fraud
35:39 I think he’s just saying he’ll learn from Max. Max has been mentoring Lee in for a while, since super formula in before. And I think that the younger kids are better with the data of being able to analyze I need to do this more like this.I think that’s why a lot of the younger guys are more flexible and adaptable than the older drivers.
2:09 Fred is delusional here. Max is one of the most flexible and adaptable drivers on the grid. If he has the best car, he wins by a mile and a half, if he has a subpar car, he still wins with three races to go in the season. Watching a lot of F1 adjacent content, whenever Max gets in any other kind of car, whether it’s drifting, Indy, rally, etc. everyone always comments on how quickly he picks up driving the new vehicle.
Hamilton has been struggling for 36 months, not 24, basically since the supreme Mercedes came to an end and he no longer had a replacement driver in Bottas as teammate. Russell's one race in the Mercedes in 2020 showed he was much quicker than Bottas rightaway and Hamilton would have struggled against him without ground effect cars too.
Norris “next year is my year”. 🤣🤣🤣. Norris is not a killer on the track. 2024 proofs that by letting his team mate win his 1st race. Need Seb vettle settings, multi 21. He is NOT Lewis Hamilton. Only Lewis and Max can give a place back and not hurt them as the killer settings were already done in races gone by. Lando is a good race driver, not great, not Elite and 100% not a killer.
Cameron relapsed into sad levels of British bias again. Vettel qualified on pole a lot because he often had 3 to 4 tenths on his teammate Webber, something Hamilton only managed with Kovalainen, not even against the other replacement driver he got as teammate. Vettel was a better overtaker than Hamilton, who quickly runs out of imagination when a simple DRS/party mode pass on the inside after the straight didn't work, Vettel managed a lot over really surprising and spectacular overtakes. His limitation was car balance, he needed the planted rear. In all other things he was a better racer than Hamilton and racecraft and pure speed was what made it happen for him in 2010 and 2011 against the two top teams with the top cars of that era, Ferrari and McLaren. RedBull was still a small upcoming team. But about any Brit feels entitled to the best driver having their passport. So it was all about the car, he was cheat, a dirty driver, "look at the straight line speed!", only Brits can corner, they just lie and slander when the wrong passport is simply better or simply doing a better job that year. Not to mention that his name is pronounced Vettle, not Vettelle. I watch this channel quite a bit and often I see a genuine effort not to be biased, but then it's back to the normal toxic British lies and clichees again.
Excuse me sir, Vettel was never able to work his way through the midfield the way Hamilton could, with both in their prime. Vettel was insanely fast in a blown diffuser RBR. British bias in this case sir, has been used inaccurately.
Which driver got the 2024 seasons coveted 'over take' of the year? After 4 seasons with the Red Bull team, where Checo was an essential part of the team that gave Max 4 X World Drivers Championships & 2 World Constructors Championships, does a bad second half of the 2024 season, that was not his fault, justify Dumping him for a rookie who will definitely hold Max & the team back next season?
yes. Checo started the 1st 2024 quarter with a 2d, 2d, 5th, 2d, 2d and 4th place. They all said Liam would out perform Checo's results. That would mean he should win 4 of the first 6 races. I don't think many people realize that's whats needed to outperform Checo.
Try to imagine how Joss Verstappen & Max feels about being 'hogtied by a midfield driver, with questionable F1 experience, like Lawson, and being discredited as a driver by Horner's very poor sense of judgement. Next year, Ferrari will unleash Hamilton / LeClerc with a race winning car while Christian Horner has deliberately crippled Max by forcing him to race with a mid field rookie that will definitely hold the teams development back, like Russell has done to the Mercedes team. After Christian Horner's obvious defection in favor of Lawson, Max will definitely be following his Dad's advice & leave the Red Bull team by the end of the 2025 season.
@@Cloxxki No mind reading involved. Over the last F1 season, the F1 commentators have over blown the fact that Joss Verstappen wants Max to leave the Red Bull team as, in his opinion, the Red Bull management don't have Max's best interest at heart. We’re always going on about Lewis’ age but never about that of Fernando Alonso who is a few years older. ( 42?)
Alonso’s car is just so bad but nobody ever thinks it might be Alonso’s age that is responsible for the poor performances.
I'm no Alonso fan, but to be fair he finished 4th in the championship just last season in an Aston Martin.
He's been smashing Lance. Had her not I suspect the conversation would've been had. 43.
@@Cameron-Cc -Pretty sure Lewis would also be smashing Lance. Lance is not George
If he got the goods then by all means, compete.
…and I think drivers taking up that second RB seat have to take the “play your role small soldier” type mentality
Amen. Yuki is too vocal and would call redFIAbull's B.S that gives advantages to max. (sabotaging Yuki's car to make max look better. Like they clearly did to perez who allowed it to stay in F1
Cute
Can't tell if cam is saying Lando Nowins or Lando Norizz
No-Rizz today. But I do switch between the two
All F1 commentators & fans know that winning WDC and WCC titles is a 'team effort'.
You can’t put that kinda pressure on Lawson, expecting him to beat Max asap will make Lawson another checo head case
So Liam being chosen to perform better then Checo was already a lie.
Briatore is offically the "special supervisor" at Alpine, but in reality he's calling the shots.
He has said executive director before 🤯
Lando has peaked. Love the kid, he’s proper fast but like 85% of the field he cannot win without the fastest car by far. Very few race drivers can win without the stamped fastest car. I’m talking of Lewis, Max, Fernando, on the grid right now.
Lando looked incredible when he had a great car, when he had a good car he looked average
The telling statistic for Lando is that it took him 6 seasons to have his first win, and only had 1 podium in his first 2 seasons.
Lando needs to find his own driving! U cant copy what others are doing
Should not or Could not 😂😂😂
Never underestimate Lightning
Both.
Some interesting facts for the top 2 drivers in this years championship that should put expectations of Liam into perspective:
1. Max wasn't the #1 Red Bull Driver until his 4th full season in F1
3:18 where has Fred been, when Max in most likely the third or fourth fastest car on the grid has not finished below six of the entire season…
If he does what he did with checo we can see him out of redbull pretty soon 😂
Think that is why they put him in the car: Basically the team can now say, 'hold station, never challenge Max'. Yuki would have charged on Max no matter what 😂
Nobody CAN challenge Max and they should realise that, that is where Gasly and Perez sometimes went wrong
We've seen Yuki do it AFTER a race with a divebomb. I think that scared all TPs in F1 shitless. There's bound to be more where that came from, considering how little it took.
He is a racing driver, so he will. Maybe not at first, but the competitiveness will get the better of him.
What's the point then if he shouldn't compete against Max?
He should compete finding his own strength his own style and not focus on max! If he does its gonna be a disastor
They mean he should be Kelly to Beyonce 😂
Get it.....🤷🙈
😂😂😂😂 i dont want competition
Don't sell the skin before the bear is shot.
In Liam Max will likely have an aggressive tag team partner. His Hawk to His Animal in the F1’s Legion of Doom, Road Warrior settings 😅
Liam should support Max and learn from Max, after Max retires Liam should be ready to be a Champion.
That is the plan ..
No one is saying Lawson is being favoured over Max in any way.
@@midas7394 they both back Liam over Yuki
NOT 1 MIN IN, so maybe not the time to comment; but is it not logical they want him to learn from the master himself?
Max cant carry Redbull forever, next season is up for grabs.
It's possible that this is taking similar amounts of commitment from Max as 2016 took from Rosberg. Max might actually tire from putting in this much. Baku is his almost scheduled off-weekend, out of 24 and even there he does a lot to develop the car and lose as few points as possible.
What is a Rosberg?
Every teamboss in F1 thinks Max is the best in 2024
Maximimum points (250) ...but the F1 powerrankings thinks Lando is better....no British bias at all...
If Max wins the first 2025 race "Guess it's my year after all, simply lovely!"
When, not if lol.
*can never
Liam challenge Max? In his dreams……
I will be astonished if a 40 year old Hamilton beats Leclerc in his prime over 24 races.
35:39 I think he’s just saying he’ll learn from Max. Max has been mentoring Lee in for a while, since super formula in before. And I think that the younger kids are better with the data of being able to analyze I need to do this more like this.I think that’s why a lot of the younger guys are more flexible and adaptable than the older drivers.
all 10 team bosses have voted for Max Verstappen as best driver, it's been 7 years since a driver scored 250 points
The election began 7 years ago. So Max is the first time ever 😉
Another push over for max !!
Another weak teammate for Max!
This topic 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️, non athlete mindset 🤦🏿♂️
penalty for a false start is expected on this video
Max champion 2025.
24 months ..Hamilton was very good in 2023 and even challenged Perez in the dominant rocketship for P2 in the standings
100% correct, but people just love believing in shait. Most do not even know they are constantly regurgitating the fake media.
he should worry more about if he can beat perez results
yes. Checo started the 1st 2024 quarter with a 2d, 2d, 5th, 2d, 2d and 4th place. They all said Liam would out perform Checo's results. That would mean he should win 4 of the first 6 races. I don't think many people realize that's whats needed to outperform Checo.
I just want Lawson to get to the front and actually help hus teammate. If not, we'll, Verstsppen will just do it alone, again.
Are you OK? It seems that you're mind reading people that show up on your television?
@@Cloxxki No mind reading involved. Over the last F1 season, the F1 commentators have over blown the fact that Joss Verstappen wants Max to leave the Red Bull team as, in his opinion, the Red Bull management don't have Max's best interest at heart.
The recent Lawson promotion proves Max's Dad was right as the Red Bull management believes that seriously compromising Max's chances of winning a fifth WDC in 2025 was in Max and the teams best interest!!
@@Cloxxki No mind reading needed.
Last season, we all know that Max's Dad went overboard, to try to get Max to change teams as he said the Red Bull management did not have Max's best interest at heart.
Now that the Red Bull management have proved Max's Dad to be right by crippling Max's chances to get his fifth WDC, why wouldn't Max listen to his Dad as he can't trust the Red Bull management anymore?
@@Cloxxki How do you know he even has a TV? Are you a mind reader? Are you OK? Pot calling the kettle black 😂
Lawson isn't going to make it against Max before the summer break it's over and out
Oof… if Lewis won the 8th… before going through Max, he first needs to go through Charles. And judging by Charles’ salty comments at Vegas, he knows this… so he’s ready to fight for his position. And, Cam, with your point about pole positions: we need to take into account that Charles is a pole position king. Don’t underestimate that team mate, mate.
…
I’ll put my foot down and bet my money here and now: I predict Max to become WDC of 2025. There, I said it. In 2025: Ferrari *will* have an inter team rivalry, which will cost both drivers points. Same at McLaren, with Oscar not being willing to play second fiddle another season. Then there’s George Russel. My partisanship may be playing up here, but I don’t think George has *it* to win championships. I dare you to change my mind.
…
As for Liam Lawson: I’m going Machiavellian, barber shop settings here. I would say Max vetoed Yuki joining the senior team, because he was concerned that Yuki’s temperament would cause him damage and thus points. Max has followed Liam closely, he might even have tutored Liam a bit. Max might have moved Liam forward on the chessboard, because he knows he can beat Liam… and, *critacally*, do it without damage and thus losing points.
Very good point. Very well made
I believe you have been Bamboozled by Lando's & others theories, Or making IT UP as you go along, !Lewis the 7 times champion & goatiest of all times (According to Your Assessment, NOT MINE & Many others) Doesn't NEED Norris's Advise NOR YOURS if he is as GREAT as YOU SAY !! Or are you attempting to Justify his POOR 3 years where he has been THEASHED by George !!!
