Make homemade beef stroganoff. Use beef short rib to make it. Growing up, that was my least favorite hamburger helper. Making it from home isn't super hard, and it tastes delicious.

Everytime we go to a church potluck, I bring baked bean casorel. 1 Chopped onion,2lb ground chuck fried and drained. 1gallon Bushes abated beans, 1 pkg. Real bacon bits. 1 pkg. Little smokies1/2 cup sweet Babyrays BQ sauce Any flavor will do 1 hand full of Splenda Brown sugar. I mix all this in my crock pot on low for at least 2to 5 hours. If it isn't all eaten by the time I'm ready to leave, people will grad solo cups or whatever they can find, to take some home with them. I made this today, cause my husband and I , love leftovers. I hope you try it.

I love your twist, similar to mine. I added chopped spinach, and four cheese and mozzarella shredded (2) different bags. Everything you had oh and garlic chopped!! Love it!!

I always add to Hamburger Helpers. Usually just veggies but it makes it healthier and makes more servings. Sometimes the veggies can also make it more filling. I haven't ever gone as far as you did tho. Creative!
That looks bomb. Coming from single mom very low income household we couldnt afford hamburger helper. We had ground chuck and budget brand mac and cheese or just mac and cheese when we couldnt afford meat. Thank god for free breakfast and reduced price lunch in public school

Looks delicious. I'm going to make yours. I make my own hamburger helper receipe, too I add vegetables to mine also. I layer mine, sliced potatoes partially boiled and drained, sliced onion, green beans or mixed vegetables, can of diced stewed tomatoes. I mix a 1/2 lb lean grnd beef and 1/2 lb of grnd turkey together cook until done. Pour a can of cream of mushroom soup, thin a little with milk or water so that it spreads easier. A package of sharpe shredded cheese on top. Bake at 325 half an hour. A lot of people ads spices to it but i don't. It delicious, serves 8 people.

I do the SAME thing. I always add my extra stuff to box meals. Onions, peppers, , Garlic etc. Yours looks LEGIT!
