Your daughter self deaf abs lucky have you and your husband have asl for her . Your daughter what need ( you and Dad know ready ) give her what need school and language. It happened. Your daughter self deaf . She beautiful.
Ur story is similar to mine. I, my spouse and my parents are profound deaf. I thought my child would be hearing. Surprisingly my newborn son is like us. We came to know the truth after 2months.
You always have some chance of having a deaf baby, whether you're more likely to have a deaf baby then two hearing parents would depend on what caused your wife's deafness.
