@@lcandothat not necessarily that bad I guess but man for the same price as these 6 “BEST” car subwoofers you can get a much better setup giving you better sound and build quality. For example brands like Skar and American bass are great starter subwoofers for a great price
@Ben Meyer gotta factor in convenience. They're all-in-ones and you don't have to worry about buying the wrong amp or box. They're specifically designed to work together and be simple.

And if you blow the sub easily like everyone else said they did in the reviews it’s no big deal and no one is mad at Skar, everyone said they just threw one of Skar audios higher rated woofers in the same box the kit came with and all was well
