I am 62 and I got into sim racing nearly three years ago. I started with a PS4 and G29, thinking that this was just a short phase trying to hold on to my youth by playing games lol. I found out that it wasn't just a short phase playing games and upgraded to a PC running a 3080 and a Quest 2 VR headset. The immersion is just incredible for me, and with a homemade bass shaker installed under the seat made from a 100watt speaker was the cherry on the cake. I didn't feel the need to upgrade my G29 because the wheel I see is the wheel in the actual car I see through the VR headset. After watching this video you have convinced me that I need a direct drive wheelbase and a good set of pedals. I am not sure if I should be thanking you, I was happy till now lol.
Wen I was happy with my simple wheelbase very good friend of mine in your age took a DD wheel for his beautiful rig and was so exited that start pushing me to take one ! I couldn’t afford it at the time and I needed to save money for at least a year ! Well he could wait for so long and wanted to feel that right now and send me the money to take one and I paid him back in the next months 😁 I guess that is my retaliation on you now 🤣🤣🤣 Joke a side Stephen , you will love it 😊
I am 60 and having great fun. The range and choice of equipment has never been better, don’t do half steps it’s a waste of cash. I don’t regret a penny on my aluminum frame, dd wheel or pedals.
The pedals and proper wheelbase is such a difference. The pedals moreso. When i switched from the Thrustmaster Pedals to Loadcells it was like a completely different game.
My rig will never be finished, because I keep watching your amazing videos ! 😂 I really enjoy making changes and adding new devices/mods to my rig. Just received my fanatec shaft extension from Tino at T.S. custom. Had to removed my rig mounted triple screws as I can now have them closer to me!
😆😆😆I understand you perfectly, I have had a 17cm QR extender for 7 years, I have the steering wheel and my hands 22 cm from the central monitor and the engine behind, now the ideal thing is that all the steering wheels are at the same distance... this time, I changed 3 bases and you give yourself a lot of work, but the immersion is better, it is well worth it...
6 years ago i' ve lost my left eye in an ugly incident at work. 9 month stop working, 1 year whiteout sport, my life was ended. But only 1 thing i can continue, simracing! It save my life, i'm going down after the accident but simracing give me something to do in there boring days. Have started whit a cheapest seating and now i wanna going to a serious wheel, is time for a dd..... Thank you man, you touch my mind.
Hey brother, I can’t even imagine the hell you have been trough after that incident ! I’m sure you have lot deeper appreciation of life now and I know how important is to find something in life which can help us trough those dark moments! Passion for something is like a gift and we are lucky to have it in the face of racing! I would love to see your smilie face in your first go on DD ! You will love that experience 💪 Big hug brother
your well thought out and incredibly edited videos on sim racing are always a breath of fresh air, but as ive been planning a big upgrade/full rebuild of my setup the reminder about patience was much needed. ive happily raced on what i would call the most budget setup you can for 4 years now, and it has been a blast. i appreciate the thorough and killer videos from you, along with many others that share opinions on gear, as i continue the upgrade journey. cheers!
Didn't have room for triples (until recently) so VR was my first real upgrade, biggest advantage I got from it was the ability to judge distances far better than I could with flat screens, I gained a lot more consistency in my driving. Consistency, is what gets you results 🙂DD wheelbases are important but I also found adding transducers to my rig helped a great deal too. I always look forward to your uploads as I know I'll gain more insight into what I can do to improve my race craft, so thank you again for all your hard work.
VR was what worked for me even if I was for years already on triples before! That depth is unbeatable from any flat picture indeed man 😃 Transducers are something I’m really afraid to put on my rig as I know I will never want to turn them of ever and the people around me will suffer 😝
Transducers are for sure an extension of the FFB, set up correctly they are nit something that should disturb others but really give so much to the user. Minimum you need one for front and one for rear but then comes the always need more. I love mine. I have three. Front for brake locking and curbs, rear for the same and centre for chassis and road textures.
Agree w others. I have front and back plus a mini on my brake pedal. Wife was sound asleep last night with it all running. So they can be set up to be not too loud 🙂
@@kevin_m I have five, one for each corner and one under my seat. The extra tactile feedback really helps catching yourself before the rear steps out. If I'm honest I'd say adding tactile feedback like trancducers is cheaper and as effective an upgrade as a DD wheel and I love my DD base.
The best upgrade for me by far was the Rig (PSR1 from Raceanywhere ), followed by a good set of pedals then DD wheel followed by an ultra wide monitor, I have a VR headset but do not use it because it shuts me off from the world which I cannot afford. For me a sturdy rig improves massively all other accessories
This is the way. I upgraded my rig and got triples while still using a G920. The rigidity, proper position make the wheel feel way better. An angled pedal plate makes them work better. It's good enough that I can take my time learning and driving before upgrading my wheel and pedals.
amazing video, ive been racing for 8 months on a g29 with an office chair and flimsy rig, but i am saving up little by little to build a nice rig, i think once i get there i will love it but also this experience with the g29 will be beneficial to appreciate whats to come. you have earned yourself a subscriber, keep making awesome videos!
that's EXACTLY the point of view I always share, and young 'rich' guys will never understand: the best is when you upgrade your setup in time :) Started also on a desk, then different wooden rigs.... now I'm on alu rig with fanatec stuff..... well, that upgrade adrenaline you get out of it lasts years! Getting all at once, as you said in the video, gives 1 or a few weeks of excitement... then, gone :) Thanks for sharing!!!!
Totally agree man ! I sound mostly philosophical in my videos but there is big biological part in us which controls all those emotions! Is just chemistry which we can’t control really but can understand and cooperate with it to have fulfillment in our life 😃
Turning my cellphone into a dash using simdash was one of the best and cheapest upgrades ive done thats my personal advice. Big bright beautiful OLED screen on my dash and no need to buy extra equipment, got a spare phone. Makes your rig go from feeling like a kit you bought into the start of an actual simrig you are building.
One of the most honest speech you can find on RUclips... Especially the passage about enjoying life and getting things a little at a time especially if you don't have the chance to have them all at once and always. That's why this video is more than just one thought concerning sim racing,,, but a speech that applies to all things in life! Big respect!
Thanks Chris ! I know sometimes I sound very philosophical but I can speak about this topic for days from biological point of view and why works that way 😃 Motivation, happiness, sadness and depression are just chemistry in our body and if we know how that works we can accept it and work with every different circle we are in the current moment😃 That’s one of the main reasons some people have everything and are depressed and other have very little but happy! Is never about what we have but how we perceive the things we have 💪
Thank you for everything you contribute to this comunity! I refer to your videos and guides as a staple for my own sim experience. Please keep up your amazing work, and maybe one day I'll see you on the track.
I have no idea who you are but you sound like a philosopher with some seriously great life lessons. Must come back later to watch more of what you have.
I was VR racer, but my eyes could not stand any long stints in the motion rig. Recently went to triple 50 inch screens and it has been a game changer for me. Love VR, but for me.and sims, big screen triples are perfect.
I love all his videos because he understands the science and psychology of the brain, gaming and racing, I too find this interesting, so yeah he is a great guy. Very humble, very educated. And very talented...keep up the good work, one of the best on RUclips 👏
the absolute love and production that went into this video is clear... you've gained another subscriber. i've no doubt your channel will grow quickly if you keep this up!
I felt that journey part. I am slowly building my rig. Last year I had a logi G923 and a GT OMEGA ART rig. This year upgraded to CSL DD with CSL Pedals and a TR120 rig. This month I updated to Heusinkveld Sprint pedals next year illl upgrade my wheel base to a Simucube PRO or Fanatec DD1.
Appreciate it that you share your Rig so openly with us here on RUclips, fantastic setup man, If I ever win the lottery, I have too probably contact you so we can set up something like your rig at my house, lol, took me a long time to get my setup which is a Logitech G29 and a Sound chair, and it makes me happy every time I go and drive. It`s the little things in life and you're right we should appreciate what we have, Thanks for a great Video here on RUclips.
Hey , thx for the kind words buddy 🤛 I had equally exciting times with my Logitech back then mate 😃 As I’ve said happiness is not what we have but how we perceive the things we have ! Feelings are just chemistry and im sure you feel much happier driving your sim then many people with super expensive rigs 💪
@@chepilevski yup, you can't buy happiness 😊 there is no money in the world 🌍,lol. I appreciate and enjoy, love every thing about my rig when I drive. Good to see you're down to earth guy.
Great content as always. You are truelly the unsung philosopher of simracing, great insight and unmatched intellect and passion for this amazing hobby and community
This is a perfect video. I am looking forward to upgrade from my desk setup with g29 and broken brake to a moza r9 fsr wheel and fanatec clubsport v3 pedals. I play assetto corsa for 2 years now and do active simracing for 6 Month now and this is the perfect moment to start my journey. Your Video is so good it felt like an advice from a person which I am very familiar with. Thanks!!!! Keep it up
As a very long time Simucube2 Pro user I have to say the R9 + FSR is absolutely brilliant combo! I’m pushing it now for 8 weeks and never felt short from power or FFB details! I still try to understand how Moza achieved that 🙈 Great choice Luca , you will love the experience 💪
I started in April this year with Sim racing, on a XBox Series X and Logitech G920. 2 Month later i bought a Raceroom 3055 a week later i bought some aluminium profiles to mod the steering wheel mount. This month i bought a nice Gaming PC because ACC sucks on XBox also i bought the new Fanatec V2 pedals. Now i must mount the Raceroom seat on a wooden board because the whole thing moved when breaking. The next steps need much more time, but you are right it is so much fun to see a slower evolution of the Setup. I Love your Videos go on.
Fighting for the next upgrade or goal have very unique power man 😃 Wanting something and fighting for it is what drive is every morning out of the bed 💪😃
U’ve better quotes than a lot of motivation bullshiters. Watching Your videos is not just a pack of knowledge and ideas. It’s pure pleasure . Like always, great job
Thank you very much for this video. For me that was a motivation speech, because I thinking of building a sim rig for a while now. I guess I will start this year. Thank you.
Four pillars of our sport explained excellent. Those might seem like obvious but it's always good to hear it from a perspective of the super experienced simracer. Thanks for another great one 🎬
Thx buddy 🤛 I see many people try to overrate one of those upgrades over another and I personally believe they are all equally important on there own and just wanted to quickly explain to people who are about to develop deep what are the advantages of each so they can decide on there own how to start !
Great video and great advice as always Chepi! Starting in the same position as you did. I now fully appreciate all the upgrades I have made and the times on track are not necessarily better, but I am more consistent and also feel more confident to push harder to try and find the extra tenths. As for my times... it is now my attitude and mental capacity to stop trying to push too much and focus on overall (average) race pace over the duration of a race... More consistency. Keep up all the great vids Brother ;-)
Fantastic content sir! Great filming, great info and you know how to get people engaged. Im hoping I can get triples soon. Your rig is the ultimate goal
Yet another great informative video - so true all those upgrades are so worth it yes they are expensive but no words can express the amount of emersion & feedback you get - me saving up for some H+ pedals to complete my set up = just recently added the SImucube 2 pro - wow a fantastic piece of equipment went from a DD1 & never regretted it - keep the fantastic content coming RBM - have a great day....
@@chepilevski Yes was not to sure about the SC 2 pro until I saw you reviews - that did it for me brother - what is in your opinion the better pedals to purchase currently running Fanatec V3i which are good but want to upgrade - H ultimate + ????? Any advice would be greatly appreciated 😀
@@jedijon1228 I haven’t tested the ultimate at home but I have in other places and they are awesome indeed! Right now I’m running on the Imsim Talento which compete with the ultimate in little better price and I’m in love with them ! Worth checking those as well ! Either way you won’t go wrong !
@@chepilevski Yes many thanks completly forgot about those - after revisting your earlier review of these pedals I think I may go for these they look so amazing & the techincal input & design is right up there - keep strong & positive my brother.
I really like the atmosphere and the feeling of epicness in your videos, you are really unique. When I was looking for information on which upgrade (wheelbase or pedals) should I go for first after rig and VR, I found out that the majority recommended going with pedals first. I eventually upgraded both simultaniously, but for me as an Dirt Rally enthusiast, going pedals first would been an error. DD wheel in rallying is such a cool experince and really helps on feeling the road! Also the breaking point aren't that important in rallying. Not saying that the pedals didn't improve the experience but I personally feel that they are not that important. For the fellow rally driver searching for these recommendations, my list would be 1. VR, 2. Rig, 3. DD wheel, 4. pedals.
Man , thx for the kind words and support!m😃 To be honest, that video idea started exactly that way as your case ! Pedals or DD and I believe all 4 upgrades are almost equally important but as you explained, that exactly will be my personal choice of upgrading steps ! Visual first, rig second, DD third and at the end pedals!
Love this channel. I have recently moved from thrustmaster tgt base , lcm pedals and shifters on ps5 to moza R9 and fs wheel load cell pedals and a next level f gt elite cockpit running on rtx 3080 pc witha g sync asus 21:9 ultrawide. Feels good man. Step by step one upgrade at a time.. next maybe vr headset. I started on a Logitech g25 wheel clamped to table a few years back
I need to send people to this video lol I know your rig took you more than half a decade. Ppl just can’t seem to understand why mine is taking about 15 months of fully dedicated building and wiring. Constant learning, testing, verifying, implementing, adjusting, perfecting, rinse, repeat. I remember one thing I took away from your content a while back that I didn’t appreciate but do now: as you get faster in the rig, you acquire new knowledge about your hardware and about precision. It was always a little bit of a buzzword for me but now I get it. For instance you don’t need to decide if you want pneumatic or hydraulic pedals at the start so don’t waste tons of time complicating things. bc you simply wouldn’t understand the difference or feel it in your feet. When you starting finding the precise limit comfortably, you naturally start to understand how to take that further and realize the fidelity in your feet could be improved leading you to study benefits of pedal types. I’ve just always appreciated that about your content. It’s not the type of hardware a driver has, it’s about what is most readily available to them to produce predictable lap times but most importantly whatever hardware helps them maximize fun. That said I totally agree with the list. A person’s natural passion for racing will decide for them the order at which they upgrade. I only just now got that NRG seat and I was blown away by the drastic difference a halo seat makes. Mostly just in simple positioning and sturdiness. No more wiggles on sharp turns. No more disruptions right in my braking zone from the little bit of play in the seat. I digress. Great one man! I’d say keep going and killing it but I know I don’t have to.
VR was my option. It's saved me money on peripherals so I put that money into the rig (extrusion) and added the stuff I wanted (load cell pedals, HE handbrake). I went through a similar upgrade path that you did. For games I don't race in VR, I use a big-ish TV and roll the rig in front of it for some fun.
I consider the VR to be the best gaming upgrade ever ! That feeling of being part of the gaming world is unmistakable 😃 And it can save so much as you mentioned!
@@chepilevski When consumer VR dropped, I tried out the Vive at a friend's place and went and picked it up right away. At the time, I had stepped away from sim racing so I didn't have a setup anymore. It really brought me back and I'm so happy it did. Thanks for another great video!
I've been on PC for 3 weeks now and that was the best upgrade I've done by far. Now I got triples to install and even more gear on the way. Stuff I couldn't use on console before. It's a never ending disease 😆
@@speedgoat7496 yeah it's not even comparable. Acc is pretty much all you get on consoles and its always broken. Looks and feels nothing like PC. My big discovery is RF2 lfm and AMS2 which is far superior than acc in every aspect. AC1 on PC is such a revelation. Dirt 2.0 is just wow. Not to mention all the apps you can use for spottings it's just endless.
Yeh buddy 😃 I have the Moza for 8 weeks as I’m super exited and wanted to take the maximum of it before I fully suggest it and for now I’m really impressed 💪
I think i have just about everything besides wheel base its not direct drive but its fanatec CSW 2.5 still top end belt drive base just bought it at bad timing like a year before they released csl dd. Keep up the good work your videos are certainly different than most other sim racing yotubers when i saw that sg racing(also watched bunch reviews) shifter video i ordered it today as my last piece to complete the rig as i had no shifter.
Slowly working my way up. Saving the money is hard, but convincing my wife where I need to spend it is the most difficult part, but a DD wheel is certainly in my future.
Tell her she need happy husband who will be even more for the family 😁 To make the people you love happy you need to be happy yourself 🤛 there is no way around!
Love this video you're spot on with everything.. I started with a wheel stand and a sofa, then I made my first diy rig out of some wood and an old arm chair 🤣 I think most of us have been here lol, then I decided to build my new diy rig out of wood and an old car seat and the difference was night and day with body position. I then got an oculus rift cv1 as that's about all my pc can run and im now about to order the moza R9 as fanatec never has any csl dds in stock.. that moza looks good though
We have been there indeed man ! I remember putting my car seat in my room and fixing my first proper seating position which make huge difference 😃 The Moza by the way is really good choice! I have the R9 on my rig the last 8 weeks for hardcore test and see if can keep up on the torture and coming from Simucube Pro , I never felt short of power or FFB information! Truly amazed from that little base and still try to understand how they achieve that so quickly 😮
For me the best upgrade to do first once you have a force feedback wheel is to ditch the single 16:9 and get a single 21:9 or Tripple 16:9 setup, I went to a 21:9 screen and now I cant use anything smaller for racing on a wheel
For me, VR is perfect. I get no motion sickness from it, even though I get motion sick in real life cars. The only drawback is that the headsets are still a bit on the bulky and hot side. I'm expecting comfort to be the biggest area that will improve in VR in next generations
If it wasn’t the channel I was going to keep on VR for ever ! I set around fans to keep me cool but still, was hot for long stints! Other then that , for me VR is the best gaming upgrade ever 😃
I would suggest you to look into making your own windsim. It does not only help you to keep cool, but you can also feels the sensation of the speed. I was able to build one under 50 euros. The project was also fun and rewarding.
VR seems to me to be the killer app for this. I mean, you need the quality wheel and pedals and all that, of course, but the immersion of VR is just unbeatable. And you get stereoscopic vision so it's way easier to judge distances, and you can just look all around you to see other cars. Ideally, it should be a headset that connects via a Displayport cable, though, not a Quest 2. The Quest 2 (or Pico 4, as well) are wireless or USB only and that means they need to use graphical compression to push the image to the headset. Better to get something like a HP Reverb G2, or (in Europe) a Pico Neo 3 Link that is both standalone and wired displayport. I have the Pico 3, and it's pretty amazing to get super clear no-lag wired VR for 400 something euro. The next step up would probably be to wait for what Pimax has to offer here shortly. Way wider field of view and high resolution connected to an RTX 4090 should be fairly mind-blowing. But so would the total cost, it would probably be approaching 5000 euros... which may be a bit too pricey for most of us.
Triples have more than 33% FOV advantage than ultrawide because the side panels are next to you. With a 49" ultrawide you have a about 80-90° FOV. With triples 160-180°. That's is a 100% increase in FOV (double FOV)
That’s actually true man , I never thought it that way but you are so right! Is not just the size but the actual picture change perspective on triples 🙈
hello, your rig looks perfect. i have fanatec wheels and assetto corsa comp. but the driving experience is strangely sluggish when turning in. But I don't know what I have to change to make it more real. thanks for every hint
That’s something I felt too with the Simucube 2 as well and I think is just the sim that way ! I can visually see the virtual wheel turns with delay from the real one ! Don’t know if that can be fixed buddy 🙈
@@chepilevski for a race car with slicks, i expect razor-sharp turn-in behavior. what's also strange is that even in ACC Pro mode without driving aids, it's too easy to drive. Is there an Ultra Pro Mode or something in ACC?
Hey buddy, that is a very old 3D printed wheel I foun on Facebook many years ago! By the way , Cube Controls are working on Mercedes wheel which will be out soon
@@chepilevski Thank you! keep up the amazing content, i’ve been watching you ever since i got into sim racing. hopefully cube controls will be kind enough to lend you a wheel for review!
Thx buddy 🤛 The AMG is the only wheel I really have no idea as I found it on Facebook second hand ! It says is Acelith but I have no further information buddy 🙈
@@luisb3743 I’m not sure if that’s possible man 🤔 I have seen some setups with ultrawide 49 and two normal 27 inch on the side on RUclips but don’t know how they achieve that !
What filter or mods are you using on Assetto corsa to make the sun rays and lighting look like that? Looks like the nordschleife track but mine never looks as good as yours? Thanks
the real first step is to make your pedals not moving from your chair, then I think a good brake pedal, then a good ffb, then a better gaz pedal, then a better display/vr
Did you try rumble motor pedal kit from sim3dracing? I orderered mine today. Now you can feel the pedals shaking when you loose grip or brakes lockup. It was way much cheaper than i thought, but it 3x the value of the pedals . I use venym atrax but the kit goes to anytging ( or send msg ,he will make brackets)
@@chepilevski Looks like You're familiar with soldering and some diy, You could make kit like that all by yourself ;) It's all in Simhub; go to Arduino tab > my hardware > single arduino > open arduino setup tool > start from scratch > choose L298N Motors Board from the list and Simhub shows you wiring diagram and gives option to upload program on arduino. Arduino and that motor board will cost literally few euros, connecting them is matter of 6 wires, another 2 wires for 5v power supply like phone charger etc. and 2 x 2 wires for rumble motors. Little boxes for arduino boards can also be easily bought, then only attaching rumble motors to pedals is last thing to do :P All pieces and bits will cost maybe like 30-40 euro or around that ;) Great diy project, would also make great content for video tutorial :P
@@chepilevski yes ok im gonna tell you my impressions . I do beleive its a 1 guy cie and he got a lot of demands. Venym atrax was not on the list, so we communiquate and he ask me for some dimension of my pedals. I believe he make brakets on a 3D printer( pic on FB). Anyway i will comment on a futur video of yours when ill test them.

nice move like alvays , its moza is bether than fanatec ?? i drive on t300 and have the same times my friends driving on fanatec , what upgrade first pedals or weel drive ?? thank you for help .you pasion is incredible !!! cheers !!
I want to test the Fanatec in the coming weeks before I can personally say which I like more man ! It was the case but many people claimed the new Fanatec firmware transformed there wheels ! About which you have to take first I can’t tell you but you can easily decide for yourself! DD wheel will give you lots of pleasure and will make you smile! Pedals will make you faster but first will make you bit slower till you get used to those new forces and the new way of control the cars ! I you want to have fun and joy, go for DD if you want results go for pedals!
I believe the Heusinkveld Sprint are the best quality for the money buddy but there are already many pedals on the market which can be there as well ! If your budget is round 600 HE sprint if is round 1000$ Imsim Talento or Simagic are absolutely awesome!
@@SoVan1 I won’t say better as I haven’t tested the Ultimate but have tested many other sets and from Elastomer based pedals the Imsim Talento are the best I ever had on that rig ! The Simagic are hydraulic dual pump system with amazing feel and actually very affordable for what they are ! I have videos for both of those !

@@chepilevski thanks for the reply! It looks really comfortable! I'm a big guy and my TrakRacer seat is a bit snug. You looked super comfortable in it so I was hoping it could accommodate XL persons

It looks like existing times are coming for you Chris 💪😃
Have fun in that journey brother 🍻
Didn't have room for triples (until recently) so VR was my first real upgrade, biggest advantage I got from it was the ability to judge distances far better than I could with flat screens, I gained a lot more consistency in my driving. Consistency, is what gets you results 🙂DD wheelbases are important but I also found adding transducers to my rig helped a great deal too. I always look forward to your uploads as I know I'll gain more insight into what I can do to improve my race craft, so thank you again for all your hard work.
VR was what worked for me even if I was for years already on triples before! That depth is unbeatable from any flat picture indeed man 😃
Transducers are something I’m really afraid to put on my rig as I know I will never want to turn them of ever and the people around me will suffer 😝
@@chepilevski They're not loud but they can shake the foundations for sure😛
Absolutely agree! If I had to start again would be between triple or VR and proper rig and then move to pedals and wheel base !
This is the way. I upgraded my rig and got triples while still using a G920. The rigidity, proper position make the wheel feel way better. An angled pedal plate makes them work better. It's good enough that I can take my time learning and driving before upgrading my wheel and pedals.
@@CaptainDomestic agreed 🤛
amazing video, ive been racing for 8 months on a g29 with an office chair and flimsy rig, but i am saving up little by little to build a nice rig, i think once i get there i will love it but also this experience with the g29 will be beneficial to appreciate whats to come. you have earned yourself a subscriber, keep making awesome videos!
That is so true man !
Beneficial from every possible point of view for sure 💪
that's EXACTLY the point of view I always share, and young 'rich' guys will never understand: the best is when you upgrade your setup in time :) Started also on a desk, then different wooden rigs.... now I'm on alu rig with fanatec stuff..... well, that upgrade adrenaline you get out of it lasts years! Getting all at once, as you said in the video, gives 1 or a few weeks of excitement... then, gone :) Thanks for sharing!!!!
Totally agree man !
I sound mostly philosophical in my videos but there is big biological part in us which controls all those emotions!
Is just chemistry which we can’t control really but can understand and cooperate with it to have fulfillment in our life 😃
@@chepilevski philosophical or not, you sound damn right, you nailed it :) :)
That is so true buddy 😃

One of the most honest speech you can find on RUclips...
Especially the passage about enjoying life and getting things a little at a time especially if you don't have the chance to have them all at once and always.
That's why this video is more than just one thought concerning sim racing,,, but a speech that applies to all things in life!
Big respect!
Thanks Chris !
I know sometimes I sound very philosophical but I can speak about this topic for days from biological point of view and why works that way 😃
Motivation, happiness, sadness and depression are just chemistry in our body and if we know how that works we can accept it and work with every different circle we are in the current moment😃
That’s one of the main reasons some people have everything and are depressed and other have very little but happy!

I still try to understand how Moza achieved that 🙈
Great choice Luca , you will love the experience 💪
I started in April this year with Sim racing, on a XBox Series X and Logitech G920. 2 Month later i bought a Raceroom 3055 a week later i bought some aluminium profiles to mod the steering wheel mount. This month i bought a nice Gaming PC because ACC sucks on XBox also i bought the new Fanatec V2 pedals. Now i must mount the Raceroom seat on a wooden board because the whole thing moved when breaking. The next steps need much more time, but you are right it is so much fun to see a slower evolution of the Setup. I Love your Videos go on.

I see many people try to overrate one of those upgrades over another and I personally believe they are all equally important on there own and just wanted to quickly explain to people who are about to develop deep what are the advantages of each so they can decide on there own how to start !

VR, 2. Rig, 3. DD wheel, 4. pedals.
Man , thx for the kind words and support!m😃
To be honest, that video idea started exactly that way as your case ! Pedals or DD and I believe all 4 upgrades are almost equally important but as you explained, that exactly will be my personal choice of upgrading steps !
Visual first, rig second, DD third and at the end pedals!
Good Sir your videos are amazing my friend great quality great content its appreciated.

Another solid vid. Love your passion as mentioned your vids made me get back into racing.
🤗
That feeling of being part of the gaming world is unmistakable 😃
And it can save so much as you mentioned!
@@chepilevski When consumer VR dropped, I tried out the Vive at a friend's place and went and picked it up right away. At the time, I had stepped away from sim racing so I didn't have a setup anymore. It really brought me back and I'm so happy it did. Thanks for another great video!

The PC world is for sure next level man 😃
Better than console?
@@speedgoat7496 well, for some Simracing PC is must if you want to take the maximum from the experience!
@@speedgoat7496 yeah it's not even comparable. Acc is pretty much all you get on consoles and its always broken. Looks and feels nothing like PC.
I'm halfway there buddy I have to drive because I believe.🤑👍🇨🇦
Push brother 💪😃
Can you do a (newer) erganomics vid for the rig? I cant seem to match mine to my race car or yours….

Very true. Good advice. 👍

the real first step is to make your pedals not moving from your chair, then I think a good brake pedal, then a good ffb, then a better gaz pedal, then a better display/vr

I am really considering that kit Philippe as it looks like absolutely awesome upgrade for so many reasons! Would love to hear from your experience!

I believe the Heusinkveld Sprint are the best quality for the money buddy but there are already many pedals on the market which can be there as well ! If your budget is round 600 HE sprint if is round 1000$ Imsim Talento or Simagic are absolutely awesome!
@@chepilevski Thank you so much, Will search for these 2 last Talento and Simagic.
Are they better than Heusinkveld Ultimate ? thx
@@chepilevski very graceful bro thank you very much, I go to see your videos right now ! c u mate
Great educational video!! May I ask what headset/headphones you using?
Those are probably 8 years old sennheiser but I don’t even remember the name man ! Those guys do amazing gaming headsets 😃
How bout the ultra curved g9 neo by Samsung?
If you can go to triples it will be always better buddy! Those ultrawide are great for sure but you will get much more from triples
always love your vids!!!!!!!!!!!!
Big hug brother 🤗
@@chepilevski aw your so cool my man . Had a full day in the sim rig yesterday driving progression is slow and steady sometimes so painful but enjoying the progress lol x
Also hope your jumping on the rtx 4090 bandwagon you deserve it your a machine lol
Thanks ! Nice vidéo !
Thx for the kind words buddy 🤛
What seat does he have?? I've never seen it!
That’s the Sabelt GT Pad but I’m not really happy with it and still prefer the previous I had from Mirco the RS1
@@chepilevski thanks for the reply! It looks really comfortable! I'm a big guy and my TrakRacer seat is a bit snug. You looked super comfortable in it so I was hoping it could accommodate XL persons
@@BroMordekai if you look for comfortable seat , take a look at the Mirco RS2 as that is the bigger size ! With few extra cushions I made mine so comfortable I was taking naps between long stint in 24h races 😃
It is also best priced seat on the market from quality!
