I must have listened to this soundtrack a thousand times back in the late 80s. Stunning.

Wow, love this interview … I’ve never seen it before but have seen the trilogy several times from the time they were released. Powaqqatsi has to be my favourite, the images are so powerful & the music equally so👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Awesome. Koyaanisqatsi is the better known film and soundtrack (and I love them) but for me this is the more interesting work from Glass. Here he pushes himself into new territory and extends his musical vision, bringing global elements into the Glass musical universe, not in a tokenistic world music way but in a way that totally serves the energy and structure of his music. It's an absolutely fantastic soundtrack, with the amazing CAUGHT! as its centerpiece.

Why is the center blurred out on several sections of this video?? I've seen the movie dozens of times and there's nothing in those scenes to be blurred out. (The naked African boy, on the other hand ...) But he's not in these scenes, so why the blur-box??

Its written in the description: "Unfortunately I had to blur some scenes because of copyright issues. Beg your pardon!"
